SuperDraft is one of the hottest platforms in the market for DFS players. SuperDraft offers a unique twist on your traditional DFS experience with game modes like “Multiplier” and “Super 15.”

This daily article will focus on daily value plays from SuperDraft’s exclusive Multiplier game mode. By eliminating the traditional salary cap structure and providing a points multiplier for every player on the slate, there is almost limitless flexibility when building lineups on SuperDraft. You can load up on all the studs, but their point multipliers will be low. You can balance those plays out with some long shots that could score up to 2x their fantasy points to vault you to the top of the leaderboards.

If you haven’t played at SuperDraft yet, new users can get an instant $100 match with promo code “FTN” by following these steps.

  1. Sign up at SuperDraft.
  2. Enter the promo code “FTN”
  3. Provide your credentials to register.
  4. By using the “FTN” promo code when depositing, you will get a $100 match instantly of any deposit of $100 or more.

With four games on Thursday’s slate, let’s get into some of the multiplier plays over on SuperDraft.

Guard

Cade Cunningham, Detroit Pistons (1.3x score multiplier) – We’ve got another short slate on tap with a handful of shorthanded teams to comb through. We’ll start with the Pistons, who don’t quite measure up to some of the other teams in terms of the length of their injury report but have some spots to focus on as of this writing. With Jerami Grant out for at least six weeks, my priority from Detroit is the star rookie Cunningham, whose usage spikes to 32% without Grant and Kelly Olynyk (who remains out) off the court this season. We saw this summer’s first overall pick take advantage of the extra opportunity last time out against the Nets, finishing with 28 points, 8 rebounds, 6 assists and 3 steals. The matchup against the Pacers here doesn’t look great with the Pistons currently 10-point road underdogs. The projected double-digit loss isn’t enough to scare me off, with his 1.3x multiplier and guard/forward eligibility, Cunningham is a key piece on SuperDraft on this slate.

Eric Gordon, Houston Rockets (1.7x) – Houston got walloped by Cleveland Wednesday night without their four best players (depending on how you view their rookie center), but they’ll get Gordon back for this matchup against the Knicks. New York is also coming in shorthanded, so the Rockets are just five-point home underdogs even without Christian Wood, Kevin Porter and Jalen Green. With those three off the court this season, Gordon sees the largest usage bump of the remaining Rockets, coming in at a 28.3% usage in a 116-minute sample. He’s shot the ball extremely well recently, and if that keeps up, he could be a necessity to take down a SuperDraft GPP this evening. Even if he regresses a bit with his efficiency, the 1.7x multiplier should keep his floor high enough to avoid tanking your lineup.

Forward

Kevin Durant, Brooklyn Nets (1x) – Targeting the shorthanded teams is the name of the game on SuperDraft, and the Nets fit the bill. For the second straight game, Brooklyn will have more regular rotation players inactive than suiting up, clearing the way for Kevin Durant to be the first player I would click into my lineups on this slate. Steve Nash has been giving Durant massive minutes this season, and while it seemed like Durant and James Harden were going to start taking rest days here and there, the COVID-19 situation that has developed around this team is putting that plan on hold, at least for Durant, for the time being. On Tuesday against the Raptors, Durant played all but 4:50 (all in the second quarter) of a game that went to overtime. He finished with a must-have performance, racking up 34 points, 13 rebounds and 11 assists. We should expect to see low- to mid-40s in minutes against Philadelphia tonight, and he’s a must have in any DFS format on this slate.

Julius Randle, New York Knicks (1.15x) – The Knicks are another coronavirus-ravaged team at the moment, adding Kevin Knox to the health and safety protocols this morning. Knox or not, Randle was already profiling as a sort of “Kevin Durant lite” on this slate. Randle had a great game against the Warriors on Tuesday in a losing effort, finishing with 31 points, 7 rebounds, 3 assists and 2 steals. What really stood out to me is the 35.4% usage he commanded, which tied the highest such mark for Randle in a single game this season. The minutes should be in the upper 30’s and maybe even eclipse the 40 mark, and with his extra 15% multiplier boost in fantasy points, looks like a fantastic play against the Rockets.

Center

Alperen Sengun, Houston Rockets (1.85x) – Oh baby have I been waiting for the day when I could recommend my guy Sengun. We talked about Sengun (he garnered double-10s in rankings for both Eddie Fear and me) and the shorthanded Rockets a ton on “Live with Fast Eddie Fear” leading up to Wednesday’s slate, and he came through with 19 points, 11 rebounds, 5 assists, 2 steals and a block in his 28 minutes. For those who are unfamiliar, Sengun is a rookie who was the MVP of the Turkish League last year as an 18-year-old. I quite literally screamed in agony when my Spurs passed him in favor of Josh Primo with the 12th pick in July. With Christian Wood sidelined again tonight and the Rockets only five-point home underdogs to the Knicks, Sengun is a fantastic choice to fill the single center spot we get on SuperDraft.

Note: Christian Wood has been upgraded to questionable for this game. If he’s in, Sengun becomes a much less attractive option. Stay tuned to the FTN Daily NBA Discord channel and the NBA livestream leading up to lock for news on the Rockets.
