Golden State Warriors forward Jimmy Butler III (back) will return to action on Monday against the Charlotte Hornets. A back issue kept the veteran forward sidelined on Saturday against the Philadelphia 76ers, but he is ready to rejoin the lineup on Monday, with the team upgrading his status from probable to available. In eight games as a Warrior, Butler has averaged 16.4 points, 5.8 rebounds, 5.6 assists, and 1.3 steals, while the team has posted a 7-1 record with him in the lineup.

Golden State Warriors forward Jimmy Butler III (back) is probable for Monday's contest against Charlotte. The 35-year-old missed Saturday's matchup with the Philadelphia 76ers, opening the door for Quinten Post (ankle) to enter the starting lineup and finish with 16 points, nine rebounds, one block, and one steal. Yet, with Butler expected to return, Post will likely head back to the bench, assuming he is cleared to suit up. Butler has struggled in his last two appearances, combining for 11 points. However, he should turn thing around versus one of the worst teams in the National Basketball Association.

Golden State Warriors forward Jimmy Butler III (back) won't play on Saturday against Philadelphia. The veteran has been bothered by back spasms, so he won't be out there versus his former team. He's struggled of late, amassing only 11 points in the last two games. Hopefully, the time off will help Butler get back on track. But while he is out, Gary Payton II and Buddy Hield are the favorites to enter the starting lineup.

Golden State Warriors forward Jimmy Butler III (back) is questionable for Saturday's game against Philadelphia. The veteran hasn't missed a game since being acquired by the Warriors. However, back spasms may be enough to keep him off the floor on Saturday. Butler is a must-start if he's available, despite combining for only 11 points in the last two games. But if he doesn't suit up, Buddy Hield and Gary Payton II will be in line for more work.

According to Anthony Slater of The Athletic, Golden State Warriors forward Jimmy Butler will play on Saturday against the Bulls. The veteran was recently acquired by the Warriors after suiting up for the Heat since the 2019-20 campaign. Throughout Butler's career, he has been a multi-time All-Star, averaging 18.3 points, 5.3 rebounds, 4.3 assists, and 1.6 steals in 839 regular-season games with the Bulls, Timberwolves, 76ers, and Heat. However, he's had issues staying healthy over the years, logging 65 games or fewer in every season since 2016-2017. Butler, who could have a few more productive years up ahead, may see less than the 30.6 minutes he's averaged throughout the season. But the 35-year-old should remain starting in all fantasy lineups. With Butler back in the mix, Brandin Podziemski will likely head back to the bench, lowering his fantasy ceiling.
