Memphis Grizzlies guard/forward Desmond Bane (adductor) is on track to rejoin the lineup on Tuesday against the Golden State Warriors, as the team has not included him on the injury report. Bane saw a run of 21 consecutive appearances come to an end on Sunday against the Dallas Mavericks when he was ruled out for the game due to left adductor soreness. In other words, Bane was rested for the regular-season finale to keep him fresher for the Play-In Tournament. Recently, Bane has found his scoring touch, averaging 27.3 points over his past four appearances. However, the Warriors held him to 18.5 points per game over four regular-season meetings.

Bane appears to be good to go after sitting out Saturday's game due to a hip issue. He could be asked to take on a heavier workload with Ja Morant (shoulder) uncertain for Monday's contest. The team has him back in the lineup after a left ankle sprain kept Bane sidelined for two games. Bane upped his scoring numbers to 20.9 points per game last month and also started February well, posting 22 points on 9-for-15 shooting in a 132-119 win over the Milwaukee Bucks last Sunday. With Bane back in the fold, Luke Kennard's fantasy stock takes a hit, as he will likely head back to the bench.

The 26-year-old hurt his left ankle on Sunday against the Milwaukee Bucks and will sit out a second straight game on Wednesday against the Toronto Raptors. Grizzlies head coach Taylor Jenkins has said that Bane will "miss a little time" because of the injury. Bane's injury has given Luke Kennard an opportunity to start, but he struggled in Monday's win over the San Antonio Spurs, missing all three attempts from deep and finishing with six points. Kennard may not receive many more chances, as Marcus Smart (finger) and Vince Williams Jr. (ankle) are nearing their return to the lineup.
