Shai Gilgeous-Alexander Leads OKC To The Western Conference Finals

Oklahoma City Thunder guard Shai Gilgeous-Alexander scored a game-high 35 points in Sunday's win over the Denver Nuggets. He added four assists, three rebounds, three steals, and one block. SGA had some rough shooting performances during the series against Denver. However, that wasn't the case in Game 7, with Gilgeous-Alexander going 12-for-19 from the field while missing only one of his four attempts from behind the three-point line. OKC needed seven games to eliminate the Nuggets from the postseason. Still, the club got the job done and will next meet the Timberwolves in the Western Conference Finals. Gilgeous-Alexander played extremely well versus Minnesota during the regular season (four games), averaging 35.0 points, 7.3 rebounds, 6.8 assists, 1.8 steals, and 55.6% shooting from deep.

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander Leads Team With 31 Points In Comeback Victory

Oklahoma City Thunder guard Shai Gilgeous-Alexander recorded a team-high 31 points on 12-for-23 shooting in Tuesday's 112-105 win over the Denver Nuggets. The Thunder grabbed a 3-2 series lead in the Western Conference semifinals after outscoring Denver 34-19 in the fourth quarter. Gilgeous-Alexander had 10 points in the final frame. He left his fingerprints all over the game, completing his line with six rebounds, seven assists, two steals, and two blocks, while shooting 1-for-3 from three-point land. This was Gilgeous-Alexander's third 30-point effort in the series. Although Gilgeous-Alexander has struggled to hit three-pointers, he has otherwise demonstrated why he is among the MVP candidates, averaging 28.2 points, 7.6 rebounds, 7.2 assists, and 1.6 steals against the Nuggets.

Chet Holmgren Logs Double-Double In Game 2 Win

Oklahoma City Thunder forward/center Chet Holmgren recorded his third double-double of the postseason on Wednesday night, notching 15 points and 11 rebounds in a 149-106 win against the Denver Nuggets. Additionally, Holmgren filled his stat sheet with two assists, two steals, and two blocks in 26 minutes, shooting 3-for-8 from the field, including 2-for-3 from beyond the arc, and nailing all seven of his free throws. Holmgren has been an imposing presence on the defensive end, averaging 2.8 blocks per game this postseason, but his offensive contributions often seem ineffective. Still, he made a well-rounded impact in Wednesday's game, helping the team bounce back from a heartbreaking Game 1 defeat.

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander Leads Thunder To Blowout Win

Oklahoma City Thunder guard Shai Gilgeous-Alexander registered a game-high 34 points on an incredible 11-for-13 shooting performance in Wednesday's dominant 149-106 victory over the Denver Nuggets. He was 1-for-2 from outside and 11-for-11 at the free-throw line, adding four rebounds and eight assists to his account. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander Close To 30-Point Triple-Double In Game 1 Loss

Oklahoma City Thunder guard Shai Gilgeous-Alexander finished Monday's 121-119 loss to the Denver Nuggets with 33 points, 10 rebounds, eight assists, two steals, and one block. The Canadian superstar stuffed the stat sheet, coming close to a 30-point triple-double, but fellow MVP candidate Nikola Jokic still outshone him on the night, as he led his team to victory with a 42-point, 22-rebound effort. Gilgeous-Alexander shot 12-for-26 from the field, including 2-for-6 from three-point range, and was 7-for-9 at the free-throw line. Monday night ended in a massive disappointment for Gilgeous-Alexander and the Thunder, but this should get the team even more fired up for Wednesday's Game 2.
