Oklahoma City Thunder guard/forward Luguentz Dort (illness) is in danger of missing a second consecutive game, as the team considers him questionable for Saturday's matchup against Minnesota. Dort missed his second game of the season Thursday versus Utah due to an illness, and he's still trying to get over the bug. Cason Wallace jumped into the starting five on Thursday and will likely remain in the role if Dort can't return versus the Timberwolves. The Kentucky product had one of the best games of his young career with a 16-point effort across 32 minutes on Thursday. However, he's set to face the No. 1 ranked defense on Saturday, and it will likely be difficult to repeat the performance.

Oklahoma City Thunder guard Shai Gilgeous-Alexander has struggled from the floor the last two games, but turned it around on Thursday. The young guard knocked down 8-of-15 shots from the floor while making 15-of-17 free throws during Thursday's win over the Utah Jazz. Gilgeous-Alexander finished the night with 31 points, six rebounds, and six assists in 34 minutes of action. He has now scored 31 points or more in seven of his last 10 games. Gilgeous-Alexander continues to play at an elite level and is putting his name in the MVP conversation.

Oklahoma City Thunder forward Luguentz Dort (illness) has been ruled out ahead of Thursday's game against the Utah Jazz. His status was uncertain coming into this game, but the team will ultimately hold him out due to this illness. Ousmane Dieng (illness) will join him on the bench, which should open up some playing time for the reserve players. Cason Wallace and Isaiah Joe figure to both benefit during Thursday's game. Between the two, Joe is the better streaming option. He's coming off a 15-point performance during his last game.

Oklahoma City Thunder guard Shai Gilgeous-Alexander (knee) is questionable to play against the Lakers on Monday. The Thunder star has sprained his right knee and could be absent for the first time this season. Josh Giddey should receive a big boost without Gilgeous-Alexander on the court, while Cason Wallace and Isaiah Joe would be candidates to step into the starting unit. Joe is the better player but has been far from a reliable fantasy option.

Oklahoma City Thunder guard Shai Gilgeous-Alexander now has 22 30-point games to his name this season and has collected 27 games of 30 or more. He's firmly in the race for the MVP award and every game bolsters his resume. In the 139-77 drubbing of the Portland Trail Blazers, Gilgeous-Alexander posted 31 points, five rebounds, four assists, one block, and two turnovers while shooting a red-hot 11-for-15 from the floor and 8-for-8 from the free throw line. While he hasn't been hitting as many threes as the normal guard in today's NBA, he's been producing elite-level stats everywhere else and boasts one of the best field goal percentages in the league, which is unheard of for a high-volume point guard.
