Golden State Warriors forward Jonathan Kuminga (toe) is listed as probable for Friday's game against the Detroit Pistons. The young forward has reportedly said that he's not happy with his current role on the team. Kuminga sat out the final 18 minutes of Thursday's loss to the Denver Nuggets. The expectation was that he'd have a bigger role with Draymond Green suspended, but that hasn't really happened. Fantasy managers should be able to find a better option even if he does play on Friday.

Dallas Mavericks center Dereck Lively II (ankle) suffered a left ankle sprain during their game against the Portland Trail Blazers on Wednesday. He was forced to exit the game after clocking 18 minutes on the floor and while he didn't score at all, he posted four rebounds, four assists, two steals, and three blocks. After Richaun Holmes (personal) was ruled out for their game on Friday, Lively's status became more important for the team. It doesn't seem likely that he would play through a sprain that happened just two days prior, but he could feel good enough after warming up with the team. If he's unable to play, however, Dwight Powell would likely see some heavy minutes at center and they could play a lot of small ball with Grant Williams (questionable - ankle) or Markieff Morris (questionable - illness).

Dallas Mavericks guard Dante Exum (heel) and center Richaun Holmes (personal) have both been downgraded from doubtful to out on Friday. Given the doubtful tag, this isn't a surprise that they're not playing, but at least the team made it official with plenty of time before the game. This will be their second consecutive game missed, but Exum's absence will likely be felt more than Holmes' since he only sees 10.6 minutes a night. Exum has enjoyed a career resurgence of sorts but has come back to Earth a bit since Kyrie Irving returned. In place of Exum, Tim Hardaway Jr. and Seth Curry should see some extra minutes. With Holmes out and Dereck Lively II (ankle) questionable, Dwight Powell could see some heavy minutes at center.

Dallas Mavericks guard Luka Doncic (ankle) popped up on the injury report on Friday with right ankle swelling and has been tagged as questionable for their game against the Portland Trail Blazers. If the team decided to hold out Doncic against a weaker opponent while Kyrie Irving was healthy, it wouldn't come as that big of a surprise. The MVP candidate has only missed three games so far this season, so he's not in danger of being disqualified for regular season awards. Fantasy managers will want to check back before tip-off, but if he sits this game out, Irving will see a big usage bump while Time Hardaway Jr. would likely move into the starting lineup.

Houston Rockets forward Tari Eason (leg) was originally listed as questionable on Friday morning, but has since been downgraded and will not play against the Minnesota Timberwolves. This is going to be his second consecutive absence while he manages left lower leg soreness. His injury doesn't seem to be too severe since he's received questionable tags and only has been downgraded on the day of the game. So, hopefully, this will be his last missed game, but that means Amen Thompson, Jeff Green, and Cam Whitmore should keep receiving extra minutes off the bench. Thompson seems to get the most minutes so far, so he seems to be the top streaming option of the three.
