According to Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN, speaking on NBA Countdown, New York Knicks forward Julius Randle (shoulder) hasn't ruled out surgery. However, Wojnarowski added that while the situation is still "fluid," Randle would play through "pain and discomfort" and postpone any necessary surgery until the offseason. Of course, a surgical procedure may be required, regardless of his willingness to suit up. But the latest update at least gives fantasy managers some optimism regarding Randle's potential return to the floor at some point during the remainder of the 2023-24 campaign. In the meantime, Precious Achiuwa and Bojan Bogdanovic should continue to see more work moving forward.

Detroit Pistons guard Quentin Grimes (knee) will suit up on Saturday versus Orlando. This will be his first game as a Piston after spending the previous three years in New York. He averaged 8.6 points in 162 career games with the Knicks, although he had more than a few potent fantasy showings. With Marcus Sasser (knee) unavailable, Grimes could work his way into the rotation. However, the 23-year-old is a risky fantasy option in any format, especially since he could see limited action.

Minnesota Timberwolves center Rudy Gobert (ankle) won't suit up on Saturday versus Brooklyn. He tweaked his ankle on Friday in the loss to Milwaukee. However, the injury must not be too serious, considering the multi-time MVP logged 38 minutes and ended the night with a double-double. Nevertheless, without Gobert in the lineup, Naz Reid will be a popular DFS value option. At the same time, Kyle Anderson, averaging 17 points and eight boards without Gobert on the floor this year, is someone to consider.

Dallas Mavericks center Dereck Lively II (nose) is probable for Sunday's matchup with Indiana. The rookie missed time because of a nose injury. He returned for the Mavs' final game before the All-Star break but came off the bench. However, Lively was back in the starting lineup on Friday in the win over Phoenix. Unfortunately, he logged just 16 minutes and finished with only five points and four rebounds. While he also amassed two blocks, his workload was discouraging for fantasy managers, to say the least. That said, as long as Daniel Gafford and Maxi Kleber remain in the equation, Lively's outlook for the rest of the 2023-24 campaign isn't as bright as it was before he went down with the nose injury.

Dallas Mavericks guard Luka Doncic (nose) is probable for Sunday's matchup with Indiana. He took an inadvertent shot to the face before the All-Star break and has made routine appearances on the injury report ever since. However, barring a significant setback, Doncic should be good to go versus one of the worst defensive teams in the league. As always, he's a must-start for all fantasy setups.
