Free-agent forward Thaddeus Young officially agreed to a contract with Phoenix. The 35-year-old was traded to Brooklyn ahead of the deadline but was eventually waived. He has suited up for seven teams throughout his career, most recently averaging 5.0 points, 3.3 rebounds, and 2.2 assists in 23 games with Toronto this season. Although those numbers weren't the best for fantasy purposes, Young was much more productive in his six starts. He'll likely get a few chances to roll with the first five while in Phoenix. However, he's not worth much to fantasy managers at the moment, although there could be streaming opportunities at some point moving ahead. Yet, Young's presence could at least mean fewer minutes for guys like Drew Eubanks, Bol Bol, and Royce O'Neale, three players who already need to scratch and claw for playing time.

Detroit Pistons forward/center Isaiah Stewart might play on Thursday in Indiana. The 22-year-old had missed the Pistons' final eight games entering the All-Star break because of an ankle injury. Although he is seemingly healthy enough to play, there were doubts regarding his availability after he was arrested for allegedly punching Suns forward Drew Eubanks before a game on February 14. Stewart is due for a court appearance on February 23. However, until the situation is resolved and the league concludes an investigation, Stewart may return as initially expected. For now, fantasy managers should at least consider him questionable. But if Stewart isn't on the court versus the Pacers, Simone Fontecchio, Ausar Thompson, and Mike Muscala could continue to benefit.

According to Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN, the Warriors will convert the contract of guard Lester Quinones to a standard deal. The two-way player has appeared in 19 games for Golden State this season. He got off to a slow start. Yet, Quinones is beginning to get a consistent role in the rotation and has averaged 7.1 points, 3.7 rebounds, and 2.2 assists in his nine games in February. While he still has a way to go before earning a spot on most fantasy rosters, there could be streaming opportunities somewhere down the line.

Chicago Bulls forward Torrey Craig (knee) suffered a right knee sprain while training during the All-Star break. He will be re-evaluated in a few weeks. However, the veteran could be sidelined longer. Craig has averaged 6.1 points, 4.7 rebounds, and 1.1 assists with the Bulls this season. Unfortunately, he'll now be on the shelf for the second time this year, missing over a month because of a foot injury. Craig was also starting to get enough minutes to make him a relevant fantasy option in deeper formats. But now that he is out for the foreseeable future, he can be dropped from all fantasy rosters.

Atlanta Hawks point guard Trae Young has steered himself clear of trade rumors and wants to remain on the team. "It's this type of league where things change and happen, but obviously, my mindset is staying in Atlanta right now. I don't get caught up in the rumors and all that stuff, my contract is locked in for a couple of years, and I don't have very much to say about it right now," Young told Jameelah Johnson of atlhawksfans.com. From a personal perspective, Young is having another fantastic season, but Atlanta is on track to a losing record and missing the playoffs, which definitely isn't a pleasant situation for the star point guard or the team. This is the second season of a five-year, $215 million extension Young signed with the Hawks in 2021.
