Adebayo has averaged 10.8 points and 10.5 rebounds across four career play-in games. However, he will be expected to do more offensively this year, with Jimmy Butler III out of town. During the regular season, Adebayo was a 21-point scorer against the Bulls, adding 6.7 rebounds and 3.0 assists per game to his tally.

Milwaukee Bucks point guard Damian Lillard (calf) will not be available for the start of the 2025 playoffs. Sources have told ESPN's Shams Charania that doctors examining Lillard believe he is making significant progress, but the Bucks star has not yet been cleared to resume full basketball activities. The team announced Tuesday that Lillard had made "significant improvement on his deep vein thrombosis" and that he will increase his on-court activity. However, Lillard remains without a timetable for his return. Ryan Rollins appears to be penciled in for another start when Milwaukee begins its first-round series against the Indiana Pacers on Saturday. During Lillard's absence, Kevin Porter Jr. has also seen an increase in fantasy value.

Burks has made 10 consecutive starts for the Heat and seems poised to play a significant role in Wednesday's contest. As a member of the first unit, the 33-year-old has averaged 11.0 points, 3.0 rebounds, and 1.3 assists this season.

Dallas Mavericks point guard Brandon Williams (oblique) is listed as questionable for Wednesday's play-in game against the Sacramento Kings. He sustained a left oblique strain in Sunday's contest against the Memphis Grizzlies, putting his status for Wednesday's matchup in doubt. Williams produced some very impressive displays during the final stretch of the regular season and could be a useful bench piece for the Mavericks as they try to sneak into the playoffs. If Williams is not available to play, Spencer Dinwiddie and Jaden Hardy will handle the minutes at the one position.

Sacramento Kings guard Malik Monk (calf) will not feature in this week's Play-In Tournament. The 27-year-old missed the final three regular-season games due to a left calf strain and is still working his way back from the injury. He was ruled out for two weeks on April 9, meaning Sacramento will also have to begin its playoff campaign without Monk if the team manages to extend the season. Monk's absence has given Devin Carter a role in the regular rotation. However, the 23-year-old rookie has not provided much from a fantasy perspective, averaging 5.3 points, 3.0 rebounds, and 1.3 assists across the three games that Monk has missed.
