Noah Clowney Questionable Versus The Bulls

Brooklyn Nets forward Noah Clowney (ankle) is questionable for Thursday's game in Chicago. The 20-year-old sustained a sprained left ankle during the January 27 loss to the Sacramento Kings, keeping him off the floor for 15 games. Since then, he's been available for Brooklyn's previous three contests, although he tweaked his right ankle in Tuesday's matchup with the Cavaliers. Clowney has averaged 9.5 points and 3.9 assists this season. While that's an improvement from his rookie year, he hasn't been productive enough to earn a consistent spot in most fantasy lineups. At any rate, if Clowney can't play against the Bulls, Trendon Watford will probably absorb most of the minutes, with the former LSU Tiger coming off a two-point, five-rebound, six-assist effort.

Yves Missi Questionable Thursday

New Orleans Pelicans center Yves Missi (ankle) is considered questionable for Thursday's contest against the Orlando Magic. Kelly Olynyk (personal) has already been ruled out, and if Missi ends up sitting on Thursday, the team will need to rely on Karlo Matkovic and Mo Bamba to do the business at the five position. Matkovic has built up some momentum with a three-game streak of double-digit scoring. Bamba recently inked a 10-day deal with New Orleans and made his team debut in Tuesday's matchup against the Los Angeles Clippers, recording seven rebounds and one block in 15 minutes.

Kelly Olynyk Misses Second Consecutive Game Thursday

New Orleans Pelicans forward/center Kelly Olynyk (personal) will not play in Thursday's matchup against the Orlando Magic. Olynyk missed Tuesday's clash against the Los Angeles Clippers for rest purposes and has now been ruled out for personal reasons. Bruce Brown stepped into the starting unit in Olynyk's absence on Tuesday, producing 12 points, five rebounds, and five assists in 30 minutes. Karlo Matkovic and Mo Bamba filled the frontcourt minutes off the bench, with the latter making his team debut. Though he went scoreless, Bamba collected seven rebounds. Matkovic was far more active offensively, finishing with 15 points, four rebounds, and two blocks.

Josh Giddey Will Be "Out For A Little Bit"

Chicago Bulls guard Josh Giddey (ankle) has been listed as doubtful for Thursday's game against the Brooklyn Nets, but head coach Billy Donovan has effectively ruled him out. Speaking to reporters on Wednesday, Donovan mentioned that Giddey is "going to be out for a little bit." Giddey himself also confirmed that he won't play. Lonzo Ball (wrist) is likely to remain sidelined as well on Thursday, which means Tre Jones looks set for another start, and Kevin Huerter is expected to take on a larger role off the bench.

Lonzo Ball Unlikely To Play Thursday

Chicago Bulls point guard Lonzo Ball (wrist) is expected to sit out a sixth consecutive game on Thursday against the Brooklyn Nets, as the team lists him as doubtful on the injury report. He hasn't seen any action so far this month due to a right wrist sprain. With Ball injured, Tre Jones has received additional opportunities in the rotation. He has started four consecutive games, averaging 13.0 points, 5.3 rebounds, and 6.0 assists in 32.5 minutes. Jones will continue to be a solid streaming option until Ball returns.
