Dallas Mavericks guard Luka Doncic (ankle) is questionable moving toward Saturday's meeting with the Sacramento Kings. Kyrie Irving (thumb) wasn't available for Friday's win over the Atlanta Hawks. However, it didn't matter, with Doncic finishing that one with 73 points, the fourth-most in NBA history. But he also logged 45 minutes, so there's a good chance fantasy managers won't have him in the lineup. With Irving and Derrick Jones Jr. (wrist) also in danger of missing this game, Josh Green, Dante Exum, and Tim Hardaway Jr. could each see a substantial uptick on the scoring end.

San Antonio Spurs forward/center Zach Collins (ankle) is listed as questionable ahead of Saturday's matchup with the Minnesota Timberwolves. He's dealing with right ankle soreness. However, the 26-year-old logged 18 minutes on Friday versus the Portland Trail Blazers, so he could miss the second of back-to-back contests. Victor Wembanyama isn't on the injury report, meaning he should lessen the blow caused by Collins' potential absence. Also, Dominick Barlow, who's bounced back and forth between the G League this season, could see enough action to warrant streaming consideration in deeper fantasy formats.

San Antonio Spurs forward/center Victor Wembanyama isn't listed on the injury report ahead of Saturday's game versus the Minnesota Timberwolves. The rookie routinely misses one of the two games in back-to-back outings. However, with the Spurs reporting easing up on his minutes restriction, it appears he'll be in the lineup on Saturday. Wembanyama is coming off a monster showing, amassing 23 points, 12 rebounds, two blocks, and two steals on Friday against the Portland Trail Blazers. That said, he may play fewer minutes than usual. Yet, the 20-year-old remains a must-start fantasy option in all formats.

Houston Rockets forward Jabari Smith Jr. (ankle) won't suit up for Saturday's game against the Brooklyn Nets. He'll now be sidelined for a fourth consecutive contest, so his next chance to return will be on Monday versus the visiting Los Angeles Lakers. The 20-year-old is averaging a career-high 13.7 points this season, meaning there will be extra scoring chances up for grabs, which Jalen Green and Fred VanVleet could mostly absorb. At the same time, Jeff Green may remain in the starting lineup, although he's a hit-or-miss fantasy option.

Detroit Pistons guard Cade Cunningham (knee) is probable for Saturday's clash with the Wizards. Detroit's young star is expected to return from an eight-game absence, although he also had a probable tag on Wednesday ahead of an encounter with the Hornets and didn't play. Following a multi-week absence, the team wanted to give Cunningham more time to work on his conditioning before he jumped back into action. Cunningham's return would bump Killian Hayes to the bench. Hayes had a good game on Wednesday with a 6-7-8 line, but his spot in the rotation is under threat as Monte Morris finally made his season debut against Charlotte.
