Miami Heat guard/forward Jaime Jaquez Jr. (ankle) will be available for Friday's contest against Portland. He's been upgraded from a probable status to available. Jaquez Jr. has struggled this month, with his scoring numbers dropping to 10.3 points per game, and the talented rookie has gone only 4-for-22 with the three-ball across his last eight outings. However, with Portland sitting 23rd in defensive efficiency, Friday's matchup is a good spot for Jaquez Jr. to get going again.

Oklahoma City Thunder guard Shai Gilgeous-Alexander (quadriceps) will miss a second consecutive contest on Friday versus Phoenix. He's been downgraded from doubtful to out, and the team considers Gilgeous-Alexander day-to-day. Cason Wallace picked up his 10th start of the season when Gilgeous-Alexander dropped out of the lineup on Wednesday versus Houston. The rookie had a quiet outing in the role, with Isaiah Joe and Aaron Wiggins playing much better off the bench. Gilgeous-Alexander's absence also boosts the fantasy value of Josh Giddey, who had one of the best performances of the season against the Rockets with 31 points, seven rebounds, and four assists.

Detroit Pistons guard Cade Cunningham (knee) is good to go for Friday's tilt versus the Washington Wizards after being listed as questionable because of left knee injury management. The 22-year-old returned on Wednesday against the Minnesota Timberwolves after missing the previous two contests because of the same injury. Cunningham registered 29 minutes and scored 32 points in the game. Detroit may be cautious with the young guard as the team has been eliminated from playoff contention.

Miami Heat forward/center Kevin Love (heel) will end a month-long absence on Friday against the Trail Blazers. The Heat big man injured his right heel in a game against Portland on Feb. 27 and has been out for 14 contests. Love's return is set to push Thomas Bryant out of the rotation, with Nikola Jovic and Haywood Highsmith also in danger of losing minutes. The former All-Star has averaged 9.0 points and 6.2 rebounds in 17.5 minutes during his 16th NBA campaign.

Miami Heat forward Jimmy Butler (illness) will be back in the lineup on Friday against Portland. The team has upgraded Butler from probable to available. Butler rejoins the action in a favorable spot against a struggling team, although he has been inconsistent with his performances lately. With that said, Butler always finds ways to make an impact on the court and should fill the stat sheet in a nice pace-up spot for the Heat squad.
