New York Knicks center Mitchell Robinson (ankle) will be in the lineup on Wednesday against the San Antonio Spurs. The Knicks are entering a back-to-back set, and Robinson was initially uncertain for the game after being labeled as questionable on the injury report. Now that he has been upgraded to available, it's reasonable to assume that Robinson will not play in Thursday's matchup against the Charlotte Hornets as he continues to recover from ankle surgery. Since his season debut in late February, Robinson has contributed 4.8 points and 4.9 rebounds in 16.1 minutes per game. Precious Achiuwa should fill Robinson's minutes in Thursday's game.

According to ESPN's Shams Charania, New York Knicks guard Jalen Brunson (ankle) will miss time after suffering a sprained right ankle in Thursday's overtime loss to the Los Angeles Lakers. He will be re-evaluated in two weeks. The 28-year-old has had a fantastic 2024-25 campaign, averaging 26.1 points, 7.4 assists, and 3.0 rebounds while shooting 38.8% from behind the arc. With the Knicks gearing up for a deep postseason run, the team certainly won't rush him back, meaning he may be out a little longer. While Brunson is sidelined, Karl-Anthony Towns, OG Anunoby, Mikal Bridges, and Josh Hart should all receive more scoring chances. Precious Achiuwa and Miles McBride may also split time in the starting lineup, although both should be more productive without Brunson on the floor.

On Friday, New York Knicks centerMitchell Robinson(ankle) is unavailable against the Los Angeles Clippers. Thursday night, Robinson played 13 minutes off the bench in an overtime loss to the Lakers. He recently returned to action after recovering from an off-season ankle procedure. Holding the 26-year-old out of action likely shows the Knicks' being cautious as they are on the second leg of a back-to-back set. While Robinson is sidelined, Precious Achiuwa(hamstring) will likely see an expanded role this evening if he's cleared to play.

New York Knicks guardJalen Brunson(ankle) is ruled out for Friday's matchup with the Los Angeles Clippers. Brunson suffered what appeared to be a right ankle sprain during overtime in Thursday's 113-109 loss to the Lakers. He exited the game before it concluded with 1:20 remaining due to the injury. Despite suffering the setback, the 28-year-old posted 39 points, 10 assists, and four rebounds across 41 minutes on the floor. After receiving negative X-rays on his right ankle, Brunson could still miss a couple of games, but it appears he won't be out long-term. Cameron PayneandMiles McBride will likely see expanded roles while the Knicks' star guard is on the shelf.

New York Knicks forward/center Precious Achiuwa (hamstring) will sit out Thursday's contest against the Los Angeles Lakers. The team has downgraded him from questionable to out. With Karl-Anthony Towns (personal) back in the lineup and Mitchell Robinson (ankle) also available, it's possible Achiuwa would not have played regardless. He only logged four minutes the last time all three were available. New York has another game on Friday against the Los Angeles Clippers, and it wouldn't be surprising to see Achiuwa replace Robinson in the lineup for that one.
