NBA prop betting has been one of my most successful and favorite things to do in the betting world over the last couple years. Over that timeframe, I have created, developed, and continuously improved an NBA betting model that projects out each player’s stat line thanks to advanced data and several thousand simulated games.
Using these projections to compare them against the lines across the different sportsbooks to determine the best bets of the day.
Let’s get to it.
Jimmy Butler Over 33.5 Points + Assists
(-110, DraftKings Sportsbook)
Jimmy Butler missed Game 2 with the ankle injury, but considering he finished Game 1 on the hurt ankle, I wouldn’t expect any limitations if he plays here. Butler has had massive usage this entire postseason, and that should continue if the Heat want to win. My model has Butler for 29.5 points and over 7 assists.
Andrew Wiggins Over 16.5 Points
(-110, DraftKings Sportsbook)
Andrew Wiggins has yet to crack this over this series, but prior to last game he has taken at least 12 shots in every game in the playoffs. If the Lakers elect to continue their defensive strategy of doubling Stephen Curry and forcing the ball out, Wiggins will be one of the Warriors secondary options who are left with open looks. My model has Wiggins for 19 points.
