NBA Best Bets of the Day (1/8)

This is a pretty good day of NBA action for a Sunday. Normally on Sunday we only have 3-5 games, but today we have a small three-game early window and a big six-game late window. Injuries have the prop bets down for some of the teams in the late window, but we should get more clarity on that throughout the day.

Best NBA Rebound Prop Bet

Tobias Harris OVER 7.5 rebounds

Tobias Harris has dropped double-doubles in each of the last two games with Joel Embiid out. Embiid is not likely to play again on Sunday, which means Harris should continue to see upticks in his scoring and rebounding numbers. I like both overs, but the rebounding one was the bigger edge.

Best NBA Points Prop Bet

John Collins OVER 14.5 points

John Collins has cleared this hurdle in five of the last six games, including four games of 20+ points. This has happened with Clint Capela out. Capela is expected to miss this game as well. On the season, Collins averages just over 10 shot attempts per game, but that has jumped to about 15 FGA during this recent six-game run. The increased opportunity has led to increased scoring, and his number still feels a bit low. You can get this at reduced juice for over 15.5, but I prefer to stick with the smaller number here for my over play.

Philadelphia 76ers vs. Detroit Pistons Under 230 points

Philadelphia is playing without Joel Embid, which is a negative for their offensive output. The Pistons may also be without their center as Jalen Duren is questionable. This is down to 229.5 on most other books with DraftKings and FanDuel being the only ones left at that 230 level. We project this to go under with about a 11% edge on our FTNBets NBA Betting Model, the biggest of the day in terms of edge.
