MLB Best Bets – Free (Wednesday 5/15)

The NBA schedule is a small one Thursday evening. We only have four games to look at for our best bets. I did not find a single edge big enough to play in the spread or total market, but I did find a few in the player prop market using the FTN NBA Player Prop Tool.
The totals in all four games are around 230, so at the very least we should see some scoring. Here are my three NBA best bets for Thursday evening action in the association.
Best NBA Points Prop Bet
Jordan Clarkson Over 21.5 Points
This is a great offensive week for Jordan Clarkson and the Jazz. We hit on his over in the last game against the Sacramento Kings, and now he draws another faster-paced team that is even worse defensively. We want to target backcourt players against the Rockets as they rank dead last in the league for stopping them. Clarkson should again play near his ceiling for points in arguably the best matchup in the NBA for opposing guards.
Best NBA Rebound Prop Bet
Jarred Vanderbilt Over 6.5 Rebounds
This number is at least a full rebound too low. We have already seen some of the books bump this to 7.5 where it should have opened. BetRivers is the best price of the remaining 6.5 numbers. Jarred Vanderbilt is a rebounding machine for this Utah team. He is averaging 8 rebounds per game on the season and has had 8 or more in three of the last four games for the Jazz.
Best NBA Assist Prop Bet
Ja Morant Under 8.5 Assists
No knock on Ja Morant here, but plus money for under 8.5 assists is good value. Morant had a 17-assist game four games back, but it was the only game in his last six that was over 8.5 assists. He’s been very close in a lot of those others with a couple games of 8 assists, but for the most part he has come in under this number more often. There is a little bit of value to the under here and at plus money it is worth a wager.
