Brooklyn Nets forward Cameron Johnson (ankle) won't play on Wednesday against Charlotte. The former Sun missed just two of Brooklyn's 34 games to begin the 2024-25 campaign. However, he's played only three times in the Nets' previous 13 contests. As expected, Johnson is being mentioned in trade rumors, so it's anyone's guess if he'll ever suit up for the team ever again. With that said, Noah Clowney (ankle) isn't available, meaning Jalen Wilson, Ziaire Williams, and Tosan Evbuomwan could be spending plenty of time at the three and four spots. All three players have value for fantasy managers, especially with a favorable matchup with the Hornets on tap. Still, none of them have been consistent from a production standpoint.

Brooklyn Nets forward Cameron Johnson (ankle) won't play on Monday and will miss the next two games before being re-evaluated sometime next week. That means, Johnson's next chance to get back on the court will be against the Houston Rockets next Tuesday. It's uncertain if Johnson will be under a minutes limit once he's cleared to play. Jalen Wilson and Tyrese Martin should continue seeing increased roles in the rotation over the next week. Wilson has been hit-or-miss, but is worth a look as a possible streaming option while Johnson is out.

Brooklyn Nets guard Cam Thomas (hamstring) is scheduled to undergo additional testing on Wednesday. Afterwards, the Nets are expected to give a better timetable on the possible return of Thomas. He has been out since early January, but hopefully won't be missing much more action. Thomas has reportedly been doing on-court and non-contact workouts, which means he should be inching closer to a return. The expectation is that Thomas is going to be under a minutes limit once he is cleared to play. In the meantime, Keon Johnson should continue benefiting with increased playing time.

Brooklyn Nets forward Trendon Watford (hamstring) is reportedly trending in the right direction and could return to the court this week. The 24-year-old has been sidelined since mid-December due to a left hamstring strain. The Nets are considering Watford as day-to-day, which means he could return to the court on Wednesday or Saturday. He has missed over 20 games in a row, so fantasy managers should expect Watford to have a significant minutes limit when he does return. Once back to full speed, Watford could offer some low-end streaming value, but for now he's just worth monitoring.

Brooklyn Nets forward Cameron Johnson (ankle) remains out for Monday's meeting with the visiting Kings. The 2019 No. 11 overall pick has been battling a sprained ankle, limiting him to only three appearances in Brooklyn's previous 12 games. It's unknown when he'll be back on the floor. But with Johnson's name still mentioned in trade rumors, he may have already played his final game for the club. With Ben Simmons (back) questionable, D'Angelo Russell and Keon Johnson are the favorites to lead the team in scoring on Monday night.
