C.J. Holmes of the New York Daily News reports that Brooklyn Nets center Nicolas Claxton will serve a one-game suspension during Wednesday's matchup against the Oklahoma City Thunder. Claxton received the suspension after picking up his sixth flagrant foul of the season against the Wizards on Monday. The 25-year-old big man will be eligible to return on Friday against the Trail Blazers. In Claxton's absence, Day'Ron Sharpe and Trendon Watford are expected to see increased opportunities in the Nets' frontcourt on Wednesday.

Brooklyn Nets center Nicolas Claxton (nasal) remains on the team's injury report for his nasal fracture but has been listed as active for their Monday night matchup with the Washington Wizards. The 25-year-old has had his fair share of struggles with injuries this season but has appeared in 49 games while averaging 10.2 points, 7.6 rebounds, 2.0 assists, and 1.5 blocks across 26.8 minutes per game. He should remain in the starting center spot as Day'Ron Sharpe continues to get backup minutes.

Brooklyn Nets guard D'Angelo Russell (ankle) won't suit up on Monday against the Wizards. The 28-year-old injured his ankle during the February 20 matchup with the Cavs and didn't get on the floor for Saturday's two-point win over the 76ers. Killian Hayes got the start at the one. However, Trendon Watford and Keon Johnson also assisted with the ball handling duties, with the duo combining for 27 points. Both Watford and Johnson could remain in line to see a bump in usage, which should continue to enhance their fantasy production.

Brooklyn Nets guard Cam Thomas (hamstring) remains out on Saturday against the 76ers. The 2021 No. 27 overall pick has had the best season of his career, averaging 24.7 points, 3.6 rebounds, and 3.4 assists. However, he's appeared in only two games since the November 25 win over the Golden State Warriors. On a positive note, Thomas has resumed 5-on-5 practice sessions. "Recovery is going great," said Thomas recently. "Can't wait to get back on the court." The Nets are currently on the outside of a Play-In berth, so the team hopes to get him back in the lineup as soon as possible. But with D'Angelo Russell (ankle) sidelined, Brooklyn will rely mostly on Cameron Johnson, Keon Johnson, Trendon Watford, and Nicolas Claxton for production.

Brooklyn Nets point guardD'Angelo Russell(ankle) is unavailable for Saturday's game against the Philadelphia 76ers. Russell sprained his right ankle on Thursday in a loss to the Cavaliers while posting just three points and five assists in 17 minutes of work. His next opportunity to play will be on Monday against the Wizards. Keon JohnsonandKillian Hayes could see more action on the floor during Russell's absence, but their impact on fantasy during Saturday's contest will be limited.
