Brooklyn Nets guard D'Angelo Russell (personal) will play on Saturday against Miami. The 28-year-old wasn't available for Wednesday's loss to the Phoenix Suns. Ben Simmons (illness) also wasn't on the floor for that one, resulting in Keon Johnson getting some work at the point and finishing with 20 points. But with Russell and Simmons back in the mix, Johnson likely won't be as productive. As far as Russell is concerned, he's played well since being acquired by the Nets, averaging 14.6 points, 8.3 assists, and 1.6 steals in seven appearances for Brooklyn. With Cameron Johnson (ankle) still on the shelf, D'Lo may be more productive.

Brooklyn Nets guard D'Angelo Russell (personal) is listed as questionable ahead of Saturday's game against the Miami Heat. Russell sat out of Wednesday's game due to a left hamstring issue, but now is on the injury report due to personal reasons. The good news is, Russell appears to have put the hamstring injury behind him, but he still remains uncertain for this game. The absence of Russell should mean an increased workload for Keon Johnson, Ziaire Williams, and Tyrese Martin. Johnson is the strongest streaming choice between the three at the moment.

Brooklyn Nets forward Cameron Johnson (ankle) won't play on Saturday against Miami. The 28-year-old has been dealing with a sprained ankle, and he's only appeared in just two of Brooklyn's previous 10 contests. It's a tough blow for the Nets, especially since he's having the best year of his career. But while he is on the shelf, Noah Clowney, averaging 11.6 points and 4.4 rebounds in 16 starts during the 2024-25 campaign, will likely remain with the first five. Clowney's upside could rise even higher if D'Angelo Russell (personal) and Ben Simmons (illness), who are both questionable, aren't available.

Erik Slater of ClutchPoints.comreports that Brooklyn Nets forwardZiaire Williams (ankle) has been ruled out ahead of Wednesday's game against the Phoenix Suns. Williams will miss a second consecutive contest due to an ankle sprain he suffered on Sunday against the Thunder. With several players out of action for the Nets on Wednesday, players like Keon Johnson, Tosan Evbuomwan, Tyrese Martin, and Jalen Wilson will see an uptick in minutes on the floor and plenty of scoring opportunities.

Erik Slater of ClutchPoints.com reports that Brooklyn Nets point guardD'Angelo Russell(hamstring) will not play on Wednesday against the Suns due to left hamstring injury management. On Tuesday, the 28-year-old was listed as questionable with the same injury. However, he played and posted 23 points, 10 assists, three blocks, two rebounds, and one steal across 31 minutes despite a loss to the Knicks. Brooklyn is the second leg of a back-to-back set, so it's no surprise they are being cautious with all the team's injuries. With Russell resting, Keon Johnson,Reece Beekman, andTyrese Martin will take on extra minutes out of the backcourt.
