5 Stats to Know: NBA DFS November 16

Share

We’ve got another NBA DFS slate ahead of us Wednesday, and that means we have tons of new stats, tools, and information to dive into for DFS. This article will present you with five actionable stats in order to help you with the night’s NBA slate of games.

Let’s get into some actionable stats for Wednesday’s slate of games that will help you build your best lineups.

1. The Pacers have the 28th ranked defense, while also playing at the fastest pace in the NBA.

This means the Pacers are arguably the best fantasy matchup in the entire NBA and can be attacked by the like of LaMelo Ball, Terry Rozier, Kelly Oubre and even other options Wednesday.

2. Jamal Murray has a 38% usage with Nikola Jokic off the floor this season.

Yes, this is a very small sample, only about 55 minutes, so we likely won’t see a usage rate that high for Murray, but that sample does show we should expect a ton of volume for Murray. Michael Porter is also a strong option with increased usage being available with Jokic being ruled out.

3. The Houston Rockets rank 30th in points allowed to opposing guards.

This is a great matchup for Spencer Dinwiddie, who will also see additional usage with Luka Doncic getting a rest night. So far this season with Luka off the floor, Dinwiddie has a 27% usage rate.

4. No team is allowing more fantasy points to opposing centers than the Charlotte Hornets.

Myles Turner has had some solid efficiency this year, averaging over 1.3 FPPM, and now gets an elite matchup, and could fail to get chalky thanks to his inconsistent minutes and other value center options, making him an interesting risk/reward play.

5. Jayson Tatum is averaging over 1.62 FPPM with Malcolm Brogdon and Marcus Smart off the floor this season.

This is again a fairly small sample, but he is over 1.5 FPPM with just Brogdon off the floor in nearly 200 minutes, so it’s safe to say Tatum is a more valuable option with those two being ruled out for this matchup against the Hawks.
