When it comes to NBA, we have tons of advanced stats, tools and information to dive into. This article will present you with five actionable stats in order to help you with the night’s NBA DFS slate of games.

Let’s get into some actionable stats for Thursday’s slate of games that will help you find top plays and/or games in order to build your best lineups.

1. 4

Both teams in the Pacers and and Spurs game rank in exclusive territories for fantasy production purposes, as both teams rank top four in pace, as well as bottom four in defensive efficiency. Fast play, with a lot of bad defense? Sounds like a game with lots of scoring potential, especially when you factor in the 238-point total and the 5.5-point spread.

2. 1.25

With Jakob Poeltl, Keldon Johnson and Josh Richardson off the floor this season, Zach Collins is averaging 1.25 FPPM. Collins is being overshadowed by some other Spurs options, like Jeremy Sochan (who I also like quite a bit), but with the rostership discount Collins will likely be my favorite Spur Thursday.

3. 29th

The Spurs rank 29th against primary ball handlers, a trait that Tyrese Haliburton possesses in our Advanced DvP tool. He also has three other traits (dimer, scorer, and crafty finisher) and the Spurs rank no higher than 17th in against of those traits.

4. 20th

The Clippers rank 20th in 3PT% allowed to opposing teams, this could set up as a good matchup for Klay Thompson, who does a lot of his damage from three-point range. However, this is also a good matchup for Draymond Green per our aDvP tool, as the Clippers rank 22nd or worse against both traits that Green has. Green and Klay sound like interesting pivots off of a chalky Jordan Poole today.

5. 30th

The Spurs rank dead last in 3PT% allowed this season, while also ranking 26th in DEF against opposing guards. I know I mentioned Haliburton earlier, but this is also a strong matchup for guys like Buddy Hield, Bennedict Mathurin and even Andrew Nembhard (who is a bit thinner of a play, but it’s a small slate), all of which are too cheap and keep in mind that although i expect him to play, Haliburton is on the injury report and listed questionable.
