When it comes to NBA DFS, we have tons of advanced stats, tools and information to dive into. This article will present you with five actionable stats in order to help you with the night’s NBA slate of games.

Let’s get into some actionable stats for Thursday’s slate of games that will help you find top plays and/or games in order to build your best lineups.

1. 25th

The Houston Rockets rank 25th in points allowed, creating a really strong matchup for the Cavs tonight, who could also be without Donovan Mitchell and Kevin Love, making guys like Darius Garland, Evan Mobley, Jarrett Allen and Caris LeVert great-to-elite DFS plays.

2. 28th

Per our Advanced DvP tool, the Piston rank 28th against scorers. Kyrie Irving fits that trait, as well as “primary ball handler” and “crafty finisher,” both of those traits are also positive matchups against the Pistons, who rank bottom 10 against those types of players as well. This is a Grade A matchup for Irving, and the Nets will once again be without Kevin Durant

3. 30th

Let’s continue to pick on the Pistons, who rank 30th against Rebounders in our Advanced DvP tool, a trait that Nic Claxton has. Claxton is coming off a statement game against Joel Embiid where he scored 25 points and added 11 rebounds, and now gets a much easier matchup in this spot.

4. 27th

The Hornets rank 27th against rebounders in our aDvP tool, and also 24th against skilled centers, both traits Nikola Vucevic has. This should be a great spot for Vucevic to take advantage of a soft matchup against Charlotte.

5. 30th

The Rockets rank 30th against two traits that Darius Garland possesses, primary ball handler and crafty finisher, and again, there’s a chance the Cavs sit Donovan Mitchell

With Mitchell off the floor, Garland’s usage rate goes up to over 30%, and his FPPM production goes up over 1.25.
