Opening week around MLB was a great one filled with lots of excitement, as well as some strong performances from players we have mentioned in this article.
With Prediction Strike, we can buy and sell players stocks much like the actual stock market, and in doing so we are able to create portfolios. However, unlike DFS or sports betting, these can also be long-term investments. Considering that long-term angle, we can take advantage of some of the things unique to baseball, such as players changing teams at an incredibly high rate over the offseason and hundreds of exciting prospects, some of whom may even make big impacts in the MLB this season. But with the increased size of MLB rosters and players who receive regular playing time, we get increased opportunity to find some overlooked diamonds in the rough.
Last week we made some positive strides, with both Oneil Cruz and Julio Rodríguez seeing their prices go up. With all of that said, I have two names for you to take a look at over on Prediction Strike.
Prediction Strike Pick: Nolan Gorman
Let’s take a look at a player who has gotten off to a hot start, yet is still uindervalued. Nolan Gorman is hitting in the heart of the Cardinals offense, and he has arguably been their best hitter. He’s hitting .462 with two HRs and six RBIs. His current stock price is just $1.90, which is sure to go up if he can continue to have success here.
Prediction Strike Pick: Bryan Reynolds
Speaking of getting off to a scorching hot start, Bryan Reynolds leads MLB with four HRs, and also has five XBHs in his last three games. Despite this hot start he is just $2.94, a great time to still get in on Reynolds.
