Minnesota Twins designated hitter Trevor Larnach had a bignight at the plate on Friday, going 4-for-6 with a double, a home run, four RBI, and a run scored in the 12-6 extra-innings win over the Mariners. The left-handed slugger is up to eight home runs on the year and is now riding a mini three-game hit streak. He doesn't get many opportunities against left-handed pitchers, but is slashing .280/.357/.478 against righties. Not playing every day can be frustrating in season-long fantasy, but he can be deployed in good matchups for DFS. That could come as soon as Saturday when the Twins take on the Mariners again and RHP Bryce Miller (5.22 ERA, 1.54 WHIP).

Minnesota Twins outfielder Trevor Larnach will start in right field and bat eighth for Tuesday's series opener against the visiting Baltimore Orioles and left-hander Cade Povich at Target Field. Larnach was initially slated to be on the bench, he draws into the lineup after Harrison Bader was scratched. The 28-year-old left-handed-hitting outfielder is best faded in DFS and regular fantasy leagues while facing a left-hander on Tuesday. The former first-rounder (20th overall) in 2018 out of Oregon State has slashed .230/.321/.344 on the year with a .666 OPS, four home runs, 16 RBI, 17 runs scored and one stolen base in 122 at-bats. Against lefties, he's gone 3-for-21 with no homers, two RBI, one walk and six strikeouts. Larnach has never faced off against Povich in his career.

Minnesota Twins outfielder Trevor Larnach went 2-for-4 with a walk, a double, a home run, four RBI, and a run scored in Friday's 11-4 win over the Angels. It was the left-handed hitter's fourth home run of the season, all of which have come in the last seven games after going homer-less in his first 18 contests. The former first-round draft pick is coming off a 15-home run campaign in 2024 after playing a career-high 112 games, and if he can stay in the lineup a bit more in 2025, he's on track to set a new career high in home runs. Through 25 games, the 6-foot-3 slugger is slashing .224/.330/.388 with 13 RBI, 14 runs scored, and a stolen base with a .320 wOBA and 110 wRC+. Unfortunately, Larnach is a career .195 hitter versus left-handed pitching, so he will typically sit against them and can be a frustrating season-long fantasy asset, however, continue to pencil him into DFS lineups against righties while he's hot.
