Philadelphia Phillies shortstop Trea Turner kept rolling Sunday with a multi-hit performance in a 5-4 loss to the Athletics. He finished 2-for-3 with a home run and three RBI. While Turner entered the week hitting a decent .294/.352/.378, he then went a scorching 12-for-32 with three homers, two doubles, a triple, and four stolen bases over seven games. In the aftermath of that otherworldly stretch, Turner is slashing .310/.365/.443 with five homers, 23 RBI, and 14 steals through 230 plate appearances. The 31-year-old will look to carry this past week's success into a new week during Tuesday's matchup against Atlanta Braves right-hander Spencer Strider. However, that may be a tall order for Turner. He hasn't had any success versus Strider, having gone an unsightly 0-for-17 with two strikeouts, no walks, and a hit by pitch against him.

Philadelphia Phillies shortstop Trea Turner was one of the lone bright spots on offense in the Phils' 4-3 win over the Athletics on Friday. The veteran went 3-for-5 from the leadoff spot, belting his fourth home run of the year, collecting two RBI, and stealing a base in the contest. Philadelphia's 2-3-4 hitters went a combined 0-for-10 against LHP Jacob Lopez. It was Turner's fourth multi-hit effort in the last five games, with 14 multi-hit efforts in 24 games since April 27, during which time the 31-year-old is slashing .371/.394/.543. For the season, the 3x All-Star is now hitting .310 with four home runs, 20 RBI, 34 runs scored, and 13 steals, making him a top 10 fantasy option at the position. Turner will face Jeffrey Springs on Saturday, whom he is 1-for-3 off of lifetime.

Philadelphia Phillies shortstop Trea Turner went 2-for-5 out of the leadoff spot in Wednesday's 9-5 win over the Rockies. He hit his third homer of the season in the second inning as the first half of back-to-back blasts since Bryce Harper followed with a long ball of his own. Turner also singled, stole a base, and scored in the first inning. He has multiple hits in each of the Phillies' three games in Colorado and is 29-for-85 (.341) over his last 19 games with two home runs and five stolen bases. While his power production has been lower this season, his stolen bases and batting average have trended up enough to still make him a top shortstop play. Hitting atop a productive lineup makes him a strong starting option whenever the Phillies are in action, especially as they finish their series at Coors Field on Thursday and then head to Sutter Health Park for the weekend.
