Naylor went deep off right-hander Michael Soroka in the fourth inning, but sadly it wasn't enough as the D-Backs took the 11-7 loss. Naylor finished the game 2-for-4 with a double, home run, and two RBI in the loss. He extended his hitting streak to nine games, which includes four straight multi-hit games. Naylor has been unbelievable at the plate lately and needs to be rostered and started in all fantasy formats.

Naylor went 2-for-5 with a homer, four RBI, and a stolen base in the loss. The veteran infielder blasted a 413-foot two-run homer in the ninth inning to pull the Diamondbacks to within four runs. Naylor is now hitting .296 with five homers, 21 runs, 27 RBI, and seven steals across 159 at-bats in his first season with Arizona. His blend of power and speed makes him a high-end fantasy first baseman.

Pavin Smith is getting the start at first base and will hit seventh against Mets left-hander David Peterson. Naylor will get a long overdue day of rest on Tuesday in New York. The 27-year-old left-handed slugger has made a nice first impression in his first year in the desert in 2025, slashing .318/.388/.505 with an .893 OPS, four long balls, 19 RBI, four stolen bases and 15 runs scored over his first 107 at-bats. He's gone 4-for-19 in his last five games, but he is coming off a three-hit performance in Sunday's series finale against the Atlanta Braves. Smith is hitting .333 (23-for-69) on the year and has hit .750 in four career at-bats against Peterson, but he's hitless in just three at-bats against lefties this year and is a poor DFS choice on Tuesday.

Arizona Diamondbacks designated hitter Josh Naylor went 1-for-4 with a single, an RBI, and a strikeout in his team's 7- 4 loss to the Tampa Bay Rays on Thursday. Naylor collected RBI No. 17 in the bottom of the first inning, driving in teammate Corbin Carroll on a 102 MPH exit velocity single. It's been a strong start to the season for him, as he's now batting a scorching .323 (.904 OPS) with four home runs, six doubles, and 14 runs scored. Not only has Naylor raised his average exit velocity from 2024, but he's also bumped up his hard hit percentage and holds an xBA of .296. Perhaps most impressively, he's cut his strikeout rate to 9.2%, while drawing walks at a double-digit rate for the first time in his career (11.0%).
