Nolan Schanuel, Jordyn Adams Out On Thursday

Los Angeles Angels first baseman Nolan Schanuel (leg) and outfielder Jordyn Adams (knee) are both out of the lineup on Thursday for the series finale against the Chicago White Sox at Guaranteed Rate Field. Schanuel fouled a ball of his right lower leg in Wednesday's loss to the White Sox and will miss at least one day of action as a result. The 22-year-old is considered day-to-day for now and will be hoping to play at some point in the final weekend series of the year against the division-rival Texas Rangers. Adams, meanwhile, has been out for a whole week with soreness in his right knee. At this point with just three games remaining, we may not see the 24-year-old again in 2024. Brandon Drury is at first base and batting cleanup, while Gustavo Camero is in right field and is batting seventh for the Halos on Thursday against White Sox right-hander Chris Flexen.

Jordyn Adams Remains On The Bench

Los Angeles Angels outfielder Jordyn Adams (knee) remains out of the starting lineup ahead of Wednesday's game against the Chicago White Sox. Adams will now miss his fifth game in a row due to lingering right knee soreness. At this point it wouldn't be shocking to see the Angels shut down Adams for the rest of the season. Gustavo Campero will cover right field and bat eighth against right-hander Davis Martin. Campero has been decent through his first eight big league games but doesn't have a strong enough track record to warrant streaming on Wednesday.

Jordyn Adams Continues To Sit On Sunday

Los Angeles Angels outfielder Jordyn Adams (knee) will miss his third straight game on Sunday afternoon due to knee soreness. As a result, Gustavo Campero will cover right field and bat in the eight-hole. Before the injury, Adams was carrying a .258/.324/.355 slash line across his previous nine games. Adams was promoted to the big leagues earlier in September and was beginning to find his footing at the top level before the minor injury. Fantasy managers should continue to monitor the Los Angeles starting nine next week, as Adams could remain sidelined. Campero has posted a solid .292 average through his first seven games at the major-league level, but it is best to fade him in DFS while facing Houston right-hander Spencer Arrighetti, who has held a 2.82 ERA since Aug. 1.
