Garrett Crochet Pitches Well In No-Decision

Boston Red Sox starting pitcher Garrett Crochet was solid on the mound during Sunday's game against the Minnesota Twins. He tossed five innings, allowing one earned run on four hits while striking out six batters. His command wasn't great in this one, but he still was able to limit the damage to one earned run. Crochet has been impressive with his new team this season. He has allowed two earned runs or less in every start, but one this season. He'll take his 2.02 ERA into his next start against the Kansas City Royals. If it's not obvious, Crochet is a must-start in all fantasy formats.

Garrett Crochet Cruises To Third Win Of The Year

Boston Red Sox left-hander Garrett Crochet (3-2) continued his early-season dominance in Tuesday's 10-2 win over the Blue Jays. Crochet earned the win after allowing two runs on four hits while striking out six over seven innings. He now has a 2.05 ERA, 1.05 WHIP, and 50 strikeouts through 44 innings and has firmly established himself as the Red Sox's No. 1 starter. Crochet figures to shoulder a significant workload as Boston pushes to stay in the mix in a competitive American League East. The southpaw's next scheduled start is Sunday at home against the Minnesota Twins.

Garrett Crochet Dealt Second Loss

Boston Red Sox starting pitcher Garrett Crochet allowed five hits and four earned runs over five innings in Thursday's 4-3 loss to the Seattle Mariners. The left-handed hurler struck out nine batters and walked five while falling to 2-2 on the season. All the damage against Crochet came in the first two innings, where the Mariners would push four runs across on a double, a sac fly, and a groundout, though he'd settle in after. The 25-year-old was a little wild in this one, but still threw 65 of his 110 pitches for strikes. Despite nearly doubling his walk percentage from 2024 (10.1%), he's been superb -- compiling a tidy 1.95 ERA and 1.05 WHIP across 37 innings pitched. Crochet's strikeout rate is also down a bit, but he's letting up hard contact less often and allowing batters an xBA of .214 against him. He'll square off against the Toronto Blue Jays next week.
