Seattle Mariners infielder Dylan Moore will take a seat on the bench for Friday's series opener versus the visiting Minnesota Twins at T-Mobile Park. Miles Mastrobuoni will make the start at the keystone and will bat eighth against Twins right-hander Zebby Matthews. Since returning from a stint on the 10-day injured list on May 6, Moore has gone 14-for-58 (.241) with two long balls, three doubles, seven RBI, three steals and five runs scored in 20 games played. The 32-year-old veteran utility man is now slashing .266/.324/.484 on the season with an .808 OPS, eight round-trippers, 16 RBI, 21 runs scored and eight stolen bases in 128 total at-bats. He doesn't do anything exceptionally well but can contribute across all categories for those in deep-mixed leagues while also providing multi-position eligibility. Mastrobuoni is a low-upside DFS sleeper with 21 hits in his 92 at-bats (.228 average). He has two homers in 160 MLB games.

Seattle Mariners infielder/outfielder Dylan Moore (hip) has been reinstated from the 10-day IL, with infielder/outfielder Samad Taylor having been optioned to Triple-A Tacoma. The Mariners will be getting their super-utility player back in Moore, who had been dealing with right hip inflammation. The 32-year-old can be a bit streaky, but was a multi-category contributor before hitting the IL, hitting .286 with six home runs, nine RBI, and 16 runs scored, while adding five steals. Eligible at 1B, 2B, 3B, SS, and OF on Yahoo!, the right-handed hitter offers a ton of flexibility for fantasy managers in leagues with daily lineup changes and is rostered in just over half of leagues.

Seattle Mariners infielder/outfielder Dylan Moore (hip) is expected to be activated off the injured list when first eligible. On Wednesday, the Mariners placed Moore on the 10-day injured list with a minor strain. It appears that Moore should be cleared to return to the starting lineup on May 7. Fantasy managers should continue to monitor his status over the week in case he faces a setback. The 32-year-old has enjoyed an impressive start to the campaign, holding a strong .286/.346/.557 slash line with six home runs and five stolen bases. Moore has done most of his damage against southpaws as he has posted a stellar .385/.485/.962 line against southpaws. While he remains out, fantasy managers should expect Leo Rivas to see more time at the keystone and Ben Williamson to see more time at the hot corner.
