Bryce Harper Exits Game After Being Hit by Pitch

Philadelphia Phillies first baseman Bryce Harper (elbow) left Tuesday's game against the Braves immediately after being hit by a pitch in the first inning. It was a 95-mile-per-hour fastball off of his right elbow, thrown by Spencer Strider. There will likely be an update on the severity after the game, but hopefully it is just a bruise. It would be a big blow to the Phillies if Harper does need to miss some time, as the superstar is slashing .267/.375/.450 this season.

Bryce Harper Notches Another Multi-Hit Outing

Philadelphia Phillies outfielder Bryce Harper went 2-for-5 with a home run and a steal in Wednesday's 9-5 win against the Colorado Rockies. He also singled and scored twice. The lefty slugger continued his hot hitting, registering his third straight multi-hit effort and fifth in his last six outings. Over that stretch, Harper is a scorching 13-for-24 (.542) with three doubles, eight RBI, and five runs scored. He's been much better overall in May, slashing .333/.400/.507 over 69 at-bats. It's nice to see him turn it around after a dreadful April (.223). He's gone yard eight times now, to go along with 12 doubles, 31 RBI, 29 runs scored, and a .276 average.

Bryce Harper Drives in Two on Monday

Philadelphia Phillies first baseman Bryce Harper went 2-for-4 with two RBI in Monday's 9-3 win over the Colorado Rockies. Harper, who picked up two singles and added a sacrifice fly, has driven in 28 runs and slashed a solidly above-average .263/.376/.440 over 210 plate appearances in 2025. A look under the hood indicates even better numbers lie ahead for the 32-year-old Harper, whose xBA (.286), xSLG (.508), and xwOBA (.389) are all far superior to his actual output thus far. Harper has a favorable matchup at hitter-friendly Coors Field Tuesday versus struggling right-hander Antonio Senzatela, against whom he has gone 5-for-15 with two homers, a double, three RBI, and 3:3 K:BB.
