Boston Red Sox third baseman Rafael Devers will take a seat on Sunday afternoon as the Red Sox wrap up a series against the Houston Astros. The superstar has not missed a game since June 9 and will get a well-deserved off day. Since July 23, the 27-year-old has been riding a stellar .385/.482/.692 slash line with 12 doubles, one home run, and a 8:13 BB:K ratio. Devers should be expected to return to the starting nine tomorrow evening as the Red Sox host the Texas Rangers. As a result, Nick Sogard will man the hot corner and bat in the seven-hole. He is best to fade in DFS this afternoon as he will face Houston right-hander Hunter Brown, who has posted a 2.28 ERA and a 1.35 WHIP in his past four starts.

Arizona Diamondbacks starting pitcher Zac Gallen (cramps) was removed early from Saturday's start due to general body cramps. Jesse Friedman reports that Gallen is not expected to miss any time. The right-hander logged four 1/3 innings before exiting but fantasy managers should not need to worry as Gallen should be in line to make his next start against the Tampa Bay Rays. The 29-year-old has struggled at times this season by serving up at least four earned runs three times in his past seven starts. Overall, through 105 frames of work, Gallen sits with a 3.69 ERA, 1.28 WHIP, and a 35:99 BB:K ratio. Gallen should remain in all fantasy lineups and will be a popular play in DFS in his next start against the Rays.

Houston Astros first base prospect Zach Dezenzo is making another start at first base on Sunday afternoon. The 24-year-old has made three so far through his first four major league games. As a result, Jon Singleton will once again be sitting on the bench. Through his first taste of the big leagues, Dezenzo has posted a .313 AVG with a double and a home run. Since July 21, Singleton has held a modest .220 AVG with only two long balls and one double. Fantasy managers should continue to keep an eye on the Houston starting nine, as the Ohio State product could be overtaking starting duties in the Space City. Dezenzo is worth a look in DFS this afternoon as he will face Boston southpaw James Paxton who carries a high 4.42 ERA.

Arizona Diamondbacks second baseman Ketel Marte (ankle) will take Sunday off and could return to the starting nine as early as Monday, according to Jesse Friedman. Marte left Saturday's game early after colliding with a base runner when attempting to make a tag. He was seen holding his ankle in pain but was able to walk off the field under his own power. Clearly, this injury is not significant, as the star infielder hopes to be back in the lineup as early as Monday. Fantasy managers should pay close attention to the 30-year-old's status prior to setting their weekly lineups. Marte has enjoyed a fantastic 2024 campaign, boasting a stellar .299/.370/.563 slash line with 30 home runs and 81 RBI.

Arizona Diamondbacks starting pitcher Merrill Kelly (shoulder) is officially set to return to the mound on Sunday afternoon to face the Philadelphia Phillies. Kelly has been sidelined since April 15 with a right shoulder strain. Prior to the injury, the 35-year-old held a strong 2.19 ERA, 0.93 WHIP, and a 6:21 BB:K ratio through 24 2/3 innings of work. Last summer, Kelly logged 177 2/3 innings to the tune of a 3.29 ERA and 1.19 WHIP. With Kelly returning, the Diamondbacks now have six starters in their rotation, which means one of them could enter a long relief role. Kelly is worth adding in all leagues as he should provide stable ratios along the way but he is worth fading in DFS in his first game back.
