Kansas City Royals shortstop Bobby Witt Jr. put together yet another huge night at the dish in Wednesday evening's win over the visiting Boston Red Sox at Kauffman Stadium, piling up three hits, two home runs, three runs, and four RBI in the victory. Witt put the Royals on the board with a solo home run in the bottom of the first inning on Wednesday, later restoringKC's lead with a two-run double in the fourth inning and putting the Royals up 8-4 with his second homer of the game in the sixth inning. The 24-year-old budding superstar has been utterly unstoppable at home this season, slashing .409/.458/.736 with 12 big flies, 25 doubles, eight triples, and 46 RBI over 235 at-bats (61 games).

Baltimore Orioles second baseman and No.1 overall prospect in baseball Jackson Holliday homered in Wednesday's game as his team beat the Toronto Blue Jays 7-3. The homer was his only hit of the night as he finished 1-for-4 in Wednesday's victory. Holliday, who started his major league career 2-for-34, has been scorching hot recently. He is slashing .375/.444/.917 with four home runs and 10 RBI over his last seven games. Three of those homers have come against the Blue Jays, including his first career home run (grand slam) on July 31. He could be a nightmare for Jays fans for years to come. His fantasy stock is also rapidly rising for this season, and he is a must-start in all leagues while swinging a hot bat.

San Diego Padres outfielder Jackson Merrill racked up four hits in Wednesday night's wild extra-inning win over the hosting Pittsburgh Pirates at PNC Park, launching two home runs in the victory. After putting the Padres on the board by crushing a solo homer off Pirates left-hander Marco Gonzales to center field in the second inning, Merrill hit an RBI single in the fifth inning and tied the game in the ninth frame with his second solo shot of the night on Wednesday against Pittsburgh. In his last 12 outings since July 24, the 21-year-old top prospect is hitting .378 (17-for-45), with three long balls, 11 RBI, and 12 runs scored as San Diego's primary center fielder.

Baltimore Orioles outfielder Anthony Santander had a big night at the plate in Wednesday evening's win over the hosting division-rival Toronto Blue Jays at Rogers Centre, smacking two home runs with three RBI. Before hitting a solo homer to left field in the eighth inning to increase the Orioles' lead to 5-3, Santander hit a two-run blast to right-center field off Blue Jays right-hander Bowden Francis to give Baltimore a 2-0 lead over Toronto in the first frame on Wednesday. The 29-year-old All-Star switch-hitting slugger has been one of fantasy's most consistent options all season long, and since June 1, Santander is batting .278 (65-for-234) with 25 round-trippers, 49 RBI, and 43 runs scored in his last 59 games.

Miami Marlins corner infielder Jake Burger remained one of the hottest hitters in baseball during Wednesday night's win over the visiting Cincinnati Reds at LoanDepot Park, smashing two home runs in the victory. After belting a ball to center field for a solo home run off Reds left-hander Andrew Abbott to open the scoring for the Marlins in the first inning, Burger pulled a fly ball to left field for his second solo shot of the game to extend Miami's lead to 6-0 in the fifth frame. The 28-year-old slugging third baseman has been raking for the past month or so, hitting .325 (26-for-80) with 10 homers, 18 RBI, and 15 runs scored in his last 21 games since July 13.
