Washington Nationals catcher Keibert Ruiz went 2-for-4 with two home runs on Thursday evening. Ruiz hit his first long ball in the fifth inning and then did so again in the seventh frame. The switch-hitting catcher extended his current hitting streak to three games and boasts a strong .295/.340/.545 line through August. The 26-year-old has struggled in the batter's box for most of the season but his recent surge could suggest he might be turning the corner. However, he still has been a viable asset in points leagues with his excellent 10.3% K rate. Ruiz remains a solid option as a second catcher in deeper formats and should continue to see the majority of starting opportunities in D.C.

Boston Red Sox first baseman Triston Casas (ribs) is set to return to the lineup on Friday evening, according to Chris Cotillo. Casas has been sidelined since late April with a fracture in his left rib cage. The 24-year-old has had a lengthy recovery process but is now poised to return just in time for the stretch run. Prior to the injury, Casas held a .244/.344/.514 slash line with six home runs through 22 games. Last summer, the former first-round selection showcased his high potential by posting a solid .263/.367/.490 line with 24 long balls and 65 RBI. Casas should be a reliable first baseman during the final weeks of the season and will be a welcome addition to a Red Sox team that is in the heat of the wild-card race in the American League.

Philadelphia Phillies outfielder Weston Wilson went 4-for-5 with a single, double, triple, and a round-tripper to lead the Phillies to a victory on Thursday evening. Wilson also scored three runs and tallied one RBI. The Clemson product has made just ten starts since rejoining the Phillies in mid-July. Through this stretch, the 29-year-old has performed quite well with a .342/.350/.684 line, three home runs, seven RBI and two doubles. Wilson could begin to earn aa starting role in left field as Brandon Marsh has gone just 7-for-40 through August. Wilson could be worth adding in deeper leagues for now, given his recent hot stretch, and may eventually be a popular target in all leagues if he can find his way into the starting nine on a consistent basis.

Philadelphia Phillies third baseman Alec Bohm went 1-for-4 with a three-run shot in Thursday's victory. Bohm hit the long ball in the opening frame which scored Bryce Harper and Trea Turner. Since the start of August, the third baseman has held a strong .309/.333/.509 line with two home runs, 11 RBI, and five doubles. Overall, the 28-year-old has taken another step forward this season as he currently boasts a .297/.351/.483 slash line with 13 home runs and five stolen bases. Under the hood, he holds an excellent 13.9% K rate, which gives him a slight boost in points leagues. Bohm should remain in all lineups going forward and will continue to provide solid counting stats batting near the top of the Philly lineup.

Milwaukee Brewers starting pitching prospect Jacob Misiorowski has looked quite sharp operating as a reliever at Triple-A in his past two outings. The top prospect in Milwaukee moved up to Triple-A earlier this month and made two short starts before shifting to a bullpen role. As a reliever, Misiorowski has tossed three 2/3 perfect innings with five punchouts. As a starter, he served up two earned runs across three frames of work. While the sample size is very small, the right-hander may have found a new role out of the pen. All fantasy managers should continue to monitor how the former second-round selection is utilized through the end of the season as he served exclusively as a starter over the past two summers. Misiorowski could push for a late-season major league debut, given his current production at Triple-A as well.
