He could be looking at a big-league debut at some point next season.

St. Louis Cardinals third baseman Nolan Arenado hit a walk-off single in Wednesday night's win over the visiting San Diego Padres at Busch Stadium, turning in his second game-winning knock in the past week. Arenado knocked a grounder into center field to score Masyn Winn in the ninth inning and give the Cardinals a 4-3 win over the Padres on Wednesday. The 33-year-old star third baseman is having a strong month of August as St. Louis looks to stay alive in the wild-card hunt, batting 29-for-96 (.302) with three home runs, 16 RBI, 11 runs scored, and one stolen base.

Texas Rangers outfielder Wyatt Langford homered in Wednesday night's win over the hosting Chicago White Sox at Guaranteed Rate Field, recording three RBI in the victory. Washington Nationals outfielder Dylan Crews crushed his first major-league home run in Wednesday night's win over the visiting New York Yankees at Nationals Park, propelling the team to a series victory. Crews launched a solo home run to left-center for his first career home run in the majors to give the Nationals a 1-0 lead in the first inning, later rocketing a double to the gap in left-center to bring home Jacob Young and give the Nats a 5-1 lead in the fourth frame. The 22-year-old top prospect is flashing five-category tendencies during the infant stages of his big-league career, going 4-for-11 with two runs scored and a stolen base in three games, and Crews should be rostered for this upside in the majority of fantasy leagues down the stretch.
