Detroit Tigers catching prospect Dillon Dingler hit two homers and drove in seven runs for Triple-A Toledo on Sunday to continue his stellar season. Dingler, the Tigers' No. 12 prospect, is hitting .287 with 10 homers and 35 RBI for the Mud Hens this season. Known as an excellent defensive catcher, the 25-year-old has turned heads with his offensive production. Injuries have stalled his development over the past few years, but Dingler has the potential to be a fantasy contributor at the catcher position when the Tigers choose to call him up. He could get the call at any time now and would be a popular waiver-wire addition, especially in two catcher leagues.

Baltimore Orioles third base prospect Coby Mayo has been on fire for Triple-A Norfolk since returning from the injured list. Mayo was sidelined with a rib injury, but has returned and put on a clinic in the nine games since. Over that span, Mayo, the club's No. 3 prospect per MLB Pipeline has hit .394 with five doubles and four homers. On the season, Mayo is now hitting .297 with 14 homers and 39 RBI for Triple-A Norfolk. Mayo continues to put up big numbers in Triple-A and on another franchise, Mayo would probably in the big leagues. The Orioles have plenty of star power both at the big-league level and on the farm, but Mayo's best bet to be valuable this season would be if he got dealt or an injury happened at the big-league level. For now, he holds strong value in dynasty leagues, but there are likely better stash options in redraft platforms.

Tampa Bay Rays closer Pete Fairbanks picked up his 12th save of the season in Monday's 4-3 win over the Mariners. Fairbanks came in to pitch the top of the ninth inning up by one and delivered a 1-2-3 appearance with two strikeouts. The 30-year-old has missed some time due to various injuries but has still been an effective fantasy option, converting all but two save opportunities with a 3.25 ERA, a 1.23 WHIP, and a 26.5% strikeout rate in 27 2/3 innings of work. Fairbanks still has time to get his ERA down and his strikeouts up, and he should still be a reliable fantasy option if his numbers stay closer to where they are now. The Rays aren't as strong of a team as they have been, but Fairbanks should see plenty of save opportunities as long as he stays healthy.

In two starts for Double-A Springfield, it's been a mixed bag for St. Louis Cardinals pitching prospect Cooper Hjerpe. He gave up five earned runs in 2 2/3 innings in his first Double-A outing on June 12 but rebounded with a great start on June 20. He fired five no-hit innings with a walk and six strikeouts to earn the win. The Cardinals No. 6 prospect has a good fastball-slider combination with a plus changeup. The left-hander out of Oregon State has very high upside and could be a future rotation staple for the Cardinals. Right now, though, he is adjusting to a new level at Double-A. The 23-year-old's latest start is a positive sign that he is on the right track after shaking off a poor Double-A debut.

The Washington Nationals have demoted third base prospect Trey Lipscomb to Triple-A Rochester. Lipscomb got some run earlier in the year, but gone up and down from the farm since. Lipscomb struggled in his recent call-up by having one hit over 11 at-bats. With no clear spot, it makes sense for Lipscomb to continue to get playing time on a regular basis. At 24-years-old, Lipscomb has likely reached his ceiling and is more useful for the Nationals then dynasty leagues. He can safely remain on the wire for now. Replacing Lipscomb will be veteran first baseman Harold Ramirez, who can also remain on the waiver wire.
