Toronto Blue Jays infield prospect Orelvis Martinez, the team's No. 2 prospect per MLB Pipeline, has been suspended for 80 games by Major League Baseball for violating the league's drug prevention and treatment program. Martinez tested positive for clomiphene, a performance-enhancing substance. The move comes shortly after the 22-year-old received made his major-league debut on Friday. While Martinez could return later this season when his suspension is up, fantasy managers in single-year formats that picked him up after his promotion can now safely drop him. In his only game played for Toronto on Friday, he went 1-for-3 with a strikeout. The 5-foot-11, 200-pounder out of the Dominican must remain stashed in all dynasty/keeper leagues for his plus power at a middle-infield position.

The Philadelphia Phillies placed right-hander Taijuan Walker (finger) on the 15-day injured list (retroactive to June 22) with right index finger inflammation on Sunday and recalled right-hander Michael Mercado from Triple-A Lehigh Valley in a corresponding move. Walker is officially dealing with a blister on his right index finger and will take at least the next two weeks to try and heal up. The 31-year-old veteran didn't look comfortable in Friday night's loss against the visiting Arizona Diamondbacks, when he allowed four runs on five hits across just four innings of work. Walker currently sits with a 3-3 record, 5.60 ERA, 1.49 WHIP, 43 strikeouts and 21 walks in 53 innings over his 10 starts in 2024. He has a greater chance for wins pitching for the Phillies, but his 18.7% strikeout rate, his lowest mark since 2018, is concerning.

Miami Marlins outfielder Jazz Chisholm Jr. (biceps) is serving as the designated hitter and is batting in his customary leadoff spot on Sunday versus the visiting Seattle Mariners and right-hander Bryce Miller. Chisholm was removed from Saturday's game early due to right-biceps tightness, according to manager Skip Schumaker, but apparently it wasn't a very serious injury. Chisholm has dealt with a couple minor injuries of late, but thankfully he hasn't been forced to miss much time and will be available for fantasy managers on Sunday. He's have a solid month of June amid some injuries, as he's hitting .288 (17-for-59) with two home runs, a triple, seven RBI, five walks, two stolen bases and five runs scored in 17 games played. Keep Chisholm in your fantasy lineups in a matchup against Miller, who Chisholm has never faced in his career.

The Chicago White Sox reinstated outfielder/designated hitter Eloy Jimenez (hamstring) from the 10-day injured list on Sunday and optioned outfielder Oscar Colas to Triple-A Charlotte in a corresponding move. Jimenez is right back in the starting lineup on Sunday against the Detroit Tigers and right-hander Reese Olson, serving as the designated hitter and batting third in the order. In seven career at-bats against Olson, Jimenez hasn't recorded a single hit. The 27-year-old has been sidelined since straining his left hamstring on May 21, but he went 8-for-18 with a homer, double and five RBI on his minor-league rehab assignment in the Arizona Complex League. Despite his inability to stay on the field consistently due to injuries, Jimenez deserves to be rostered in most fantasy leagues now that he's back in the fold.

Boston Red Sox outfielder Rob Refsnyder (knee) will serve as the team's designated hitter and will bat in the two-hole on Sunday to face off against the Cincinnati Reds and left-hander Nick Lodolo. In his only career at-bat against Lodolo, Refsnyder hit a solo home run. The 33-year-old veteran missed each of the team's last three games due to right-knee soreness, but he's feeling better now and is ready to give it a go in the series finale in Cincinnati. In a pinch-hitting appearance on Saturday, Refsnyder came through with an RBI single and is now hitting an impressive .324 (45-for-139) on the season, albeit with only two home runs, 18 RBI and 16 runs scored. So far in June, he's slashing .308/.383/.385 with four RBI. Refsnyder is getting it done at the plate but doesn't carry much counting-stat upside for fantasy managers and faces a tough matchup on Sunday.
