San Diego Padres outfielder Jackson Merrill continued his recent power surge in a 6-4 win over the Milwaukee Brewers on Saturday. Merrill went 3-for-3 with a homer, a walk, and three RBI to help power his team to victory. The rookie outfielder's homer was crushed, traveling 440 feet with an exit velocity of 105.9 MPH. Merrill has been on a tear of late with seven homers over his past 10 games. Overall, he is hitting .290 with 10 homers, 34 runs, 35 RBI, and nine steals across 259 at-bats. Merrill has emerged as a quality fantasy outfielder in his debut season and needs to be locked into fantasy lineups while he's hot at the plate.

Cincinnati Reds shortstop Elly De La Cruz posted three hits in a 4-3 loss to the Boston Red Sox on Saturday. Cruz went 3-for-5 with a solo homer but was caught stealing in his team's loss to Boston. The solo homer came off Boston starter Nick Pivetta in the third inning and traveled 407 feet with an exit velocity of 104.3 MPH. De La Cruz is putting together a productive sophomore season for the Reds, hitting .240 with 13 homers, 48 runs, 32 RBI, and 37 steals across 279 at-bats. While his batting average is a little rough, De La Cruz brings a dangerous power/speed element to the game, keeping his fantasy value high.

Minnesota Twins third baseman Jose Miranda stuffed the stat sheet in his team's 10-2 win over the Oakland A's on Saturday. Miranda went 3-for-5 with two doubles, a walk, one run, and three RBI to help power his team to victory. The 25-year-old infielder is enjoying a breakout season in 2024, hitting .289 with 14 doubles, eight homers, 24 runs, 30 RBI, and a stolen base across 201 at-bats for the Twins. He has been especially hot of late, hitting .400 with two homers over his past seven games. Miranda should be locked into fantasy lineups while he's swinging a hot bat at the plate.

Seattle Mariners right-hander Logan Gilbert cruised to an easy 9-0 win over the Miami Marlins on Saturday. Gilbert tossed eight shutout innings, allowing just four hits, walking one, and striking out six in the start while needing just 92 pitches. The win improves Gilbert's record to 5-4, to go along with a 2.71 ERA, 0.89 WHIP, and 99 strikeouts over 106 1/3 innings of work. Gilbert continues to be a rock-solid fantasy starting pitcher and should remain in starting lineups for his next start, which comes against the Minnesota Twins on Friday.

Seattle Mariners outfielder Dominic Canzone had a big night in a 9-0 win over the Miami Marlins on Saturday. Canzone went 4-for-5 with a homer, three runs, and two RBI to help lead the Mariners to victory. The 26-year-old outfielder is now hitting .234 with seven homers, 13 runs, 14 RBI, and a stolen base across 107 at-bats for the Mariners in 2024. He is starting to pick it up of late, hitting .325 with two homers over his past 15 contests. Canzone isn't a must-roster in fantasy leagues at the moment but he's worth monitoring as a potential waiver claim thanks to his recent hot hitting.
