According to Giants manager Bob Melvin, Conforto's hamstring "feels mild." Conforto will undergo an MRI on Sunday to determine the severity of the injury. Luis Matos was pulled after two at-bats from the Triple-A Sacramento game and would replace Conforto on the roster. Matos was slashing .221/.312/.361 with three home runs and three steals over 30 games for Triple-A Sacramento in 2024.

Chicago Cubs third baseman Christopher Morel (knee) was removed from Saturday's game versus the Pittsburgh Pirates in the fifth inning with right knee soreness. The 24-year-old appeared to have hurt his right knee while sliding into second base attempting a steal in the top of the third inning. He went 1-for-3 with a strikeout before exiting. Morel is considered day-to-day and will undergo further evaluation on his right knee after the game. Nick Madrigal replaced Morel in Saturday's contest. Madrigal would see an uptick in playing time if Morel were to miss any games, but he is not on the fantasy radar in most league formats after hitting .208 (11-for-53) in 2024.

Texas Rangers outfielder Evan Carter (back) was scratched from Saturday's lineup against the Colorado Rockies due to lower-back stiffness. The 21-year-old has a history of lower back issues, and the Rangers are being cautious with their young outfielder. He is considered day-to-day for now, with his next chance to suit up being the series finale on Sunday against the Colorado Rockies. Carter is slashing .216/.303/.416 with five home runs, 15 RBI, 23 runs, and two stolen bases over 142 plate appearances in 2024. Travis Jankowski replaced Carter in Saturday's lineup and went 0-for-4 with a strikeout in the Rangers' 8-3 loss to the Rockies. Jankowski would see an uptick in playing time if Carter were to miss any games, but he is mainly a speculative add in AL-Only league formats after slashing .239/.286/.326 over 25 games in 2024.

Saturday was only one game, but long-suffering Toronto Blue Jays first basemanVladimir Guerrero Jr.managers received welcomed news in the form of a 4-for-5, three-RBI performance in the team's 10-8 win over the Minnesota Twins. Guerrero tied the score at 8-8 with a two-run single in the bottom of the seventh to give him 19 RBI this season. However, all four of his hits were singles, and while his .272 batting average is acceptable, Guerrero's .391 slugging percentage continues to be a source of discontent. He has just one home run since April 12 and only 10 extra-base hits. Overall, Guerrero is slashing .272/.360/.391 with four home runs, 19 RBI, 14 runs, and a stolen base over 39 games in 2024.

Despite allowing a two-out double to Minnesota Twins outfielderMax Kepler, Toronto Blue Jays closerJordan Romano picked up his sixth save of the season in Saturday's 10-8 win at Rodgers Centre. Romano avoided allowing an earned run for the first time in three appearances in May, lowering his ERA to 4.15. An encouraging stat for fantasy managers is that Romano struck out two batters on Saturday, only the second time he has done so in 2024. His current 7.0 K/9 is light years from Romano's 11.0 K/9 last season. Despite the drop in K/9, Romano is a top-five fantasy closer with six saves, 4.15 ERA, 1.38 WHIP, and an 8:2 K: BB across 8 2/3 innings in 2024.
