2024 Team Stats

New York Mets shortstop Francisco Lindor helped the Mets avoid a sweep at Fenway Park on Wednesday night by going 2-for-5 out of the leadoff spot with a home run for an insurance run in the ninth inning. He doubled to lead off the game against Garrett Crochet and stole third base before being stranded. He added another theft in the seventh inning after reaching on a fielder's choice. On the season, Lindor has 10 homers and nine stolen bases and is hitting .283 with a .361 wOBA. He has been a solid contributor at the top of the Mets' lineup and will remain a great option at shortstop in all formats with a very high ceiling on a nightly basis since he can have a big night with power, speed, or a combination of the two.

New York Mets infield prospect Ronny Mauricio has continued to swing a hot bat at Triple-A and is nearing a return to the major leagues. On Wednesday, the No. 9-ranked prospect in the system went deep in his second straight contest. He also posted his third-straight multi-hit game at Triple-A Syracuse. The 24-year-old missed the entire 2024 campaign and the opening month of the 2025 season recovering from a torn ACL. However, the infielder appears to have returned to form. He made his MLB debut late in the 2023 campaign and posted a .248/.296/.347 with two home runs and seven stolen bases. While the Mets' infield is quite crowded at the moment, if Mauricio continues to hit, he will earn a promotion. Fantasy managers in NL-only formats should continue to monitor his production at Triple-A, as he may be just weeks away from his return to Queens.

New York Mets third baseman Brett Baty went 2-for-4 in Wednesday's 5-1 road win against the Boston Red Sox. The 25-year-old singled twice, drove in three runs, and stole a base. In an attempt to shake up the lineup, manager Carlos Mendoza gave Baty his first start against a lefty all season, and he didn't disappoint with the opportunity. He ripped a single in the top of the second off Bo Sox starter Garrett Crochet to collect his first hit, driving in Mark Vientos -- and nearly Luis Torrens -- to give the Mets their first run. Then, in the top of the seventh, Baty singled again -- this time knocking in two. Since returning from Triple-A, he's notched four two-hit outings, but is just 1-for-21 across his other eight appearances.

New York Mets starting pitcher Tylor Megill struck out 10 batters but lasted only 4 innings in Wednesday's 5-1 win over the Red Sox. He allowed one run on four hits and one walk. This start was more of the same for the right-hander, who continues to flash huge strikeout upside while struggling with efficiency. This was his second double-digit strikeout performance of the season, but he has also only finished six full frames one time. He'll carry a 3.56 ERA with 66 strikeouts and 23 walks into his next start, which is set to be a great matchup against the White Sox at home.

Chicago White Sox right-hander Adrian Houser notched a quality start in a 1-0 win over the Seattle Mariners on Tuesday. Houser threw six innings of shutout ball while allowing two hits and walking three with two strikeouts to earn the win. It was the 2025 debut for Houser, who wasted little time getting acclimated to his new team after the Texas Rangers released him earlier in the week. Houser will hope for another chance to show what he can do in the Chicago rotation.
