Welcome to the prop bet tracker. As MLB season gets into high gear, another way to get in on the action is to analyze the day’s best prop bets – from strikeouts to home runs, first to five runs to total bases logged.

Each day, we will try and identify a few picks that are ready to explode in the prop market.

Sean Manaea Over 6.5 Strikeouts (+134, FanDuel)

This number is high. If this is a stay away, I won't blame you. But peep this Manaea numbers along with the Rays overall ineptitude against left-handed pitchers — Manaea has been strong so far this season, rocking a strikeout per inning this year. He's facing a team that has struck out at a 32.0% clip so far this year, second-worst in all of major league baseball. I'll take the juice and put a small amount on the bet.

Matt Shoemaker Over 4.5 Strikeouts (-122, BetRivers)

The Twins offense has been extremely solid, but one part that's a little bit frightening is the back end of this pitching rotation, and Shoemaker is part of that group. In his last start, he was absolutely bombed for eight runs by the Royals, and that follows up a poor start two turns ago against the Athletics. Friday night, he faces a Tigers offense that's whiffed a league-worst 30.3% of the time.

Giancarlo Stanton to Hit a Home Run (+260, DraftKings)

I like home run props because they pay off in a big way, and Friday, Stanton faces Patrick Corbin at home, and Corbin has been horrendous this season with an ERA of 8.10. Stanton, meanwhile, has been smokin' hot at the dish — he's got 12 hits in his last five contests, including home runs in each of his last three games.
