Welcome to the prop bet tracker. As MLB season gets into high gear, another way to get in on the action is to analyze the day’s best prop bets – from strikeouts to home runs, first to five runs to total bases logged.

Each day, we will try and identify a few picks that are ready to explode in the prop market.

Cubs-Giants Over 8.0 Runs (-128, DraftKings)

This series has been highlighted by excellent offensive production — and it's largely due to two very good offenses. While they both provide plenty of pop, it doesn't hurt that the Bay Area is experiencing unusually warm temperatures and a very strong wind (11 MPH straight out). While Kevin Gausman has been really good this year, I still like the over.

Eduardo Rodríguez Over 5.5 Strikeouts (-149, BetMGM)

If a team is regularly rolling out Brett Gardner and Clint Frazier in their lineup, this offense has problems. At least 99 of them. As a result, I am locking in this OVER, and fast — FanDuel has already pushed it to 6.5 whiffs. In the last two weeks, the Yankees sport a .114 isolated power (ISO) mark, a league-worst 29.2% strikeout rate, and a wRC+ of 85. Yikes.

Clayton Kershaw Over 6.5 Strikeouts (+110, FanDuel)

The Braves are absolutely an offense that can get loose, and in a hurry. But, keep in mind this — they swing and miss a ton, too. Over the last two weeks, the Braves have recorded the fourth-worst strikeout rate in baseball (26.8%), and against lefties this year, they've recorded the eighth-worst mark in baseball at 25.0%. I like Kershaw here even at a slightly elevated total.
