Milwaukee Brewers left-handed pitcher Aaron Ashby (oblique) is set to begin a rehab assignment in the Arizona Complex League on Tuesday. The southpaw has been sidelined since March due to this oblique strain. However, it appears the left-hander is set to take the next step in his recovery process. Fantasy managers should continue to monitor his progress as he could return to Milwaukee in the coming weeks. Last season, the 26-year-old logged 28 1/3 innings of work in the major leagues and held a strong 2.86 ERA with a stellar 1.06 WHIP. He struck out 33 batters and served up walks at an 8.4 percent rate. He also generated a .202 xBA with an elite 60.5 percent ground-ball rate. While he spent most of his time in the bullpen last season, given the numerous injuries in the Milwaukee rotation, Ashby could find a role in the rotation later in the season.

Milwaukee Brewers outfielder Christian Yelich turned in a productive day in a 5-1 win over the Houston Astros on Monday. Yelich went 1-for-3 with a homer, a walk, two runs, two RBI, and a stolen base in the winning effort. The veteran outfielder launched a two-run homer in the third inning to push Milwaukee's lead to 3-0 in the contest. Yelich owns a rough .210 batting average, but he's producing across the board despite it, with six homers, 17 runs, 25 RBI, and seven steals over 124 at-bats. He remains a high-end fantasy outfielder in all leagues.

New York Yankees relief pitcher Devin Williams continued his dismal start to the season in Monday's 4-3 loss to the Padres. Williams came in to pitch the top of the eighth inning with a 3-0 lead. He got the first out on a strikeout, allowed a walk and a single, and got the second out on a strikeout. He then allowed another walk before being relieved by Luke Weaver, who allowed two more runs to score, one of which was charged to Williams. The 30-year-old, who has been an excellent reliever throughout his career, has already been removed as the team's closer and owns a 10.03 ERA, a 1.97 WHIP, and a 10.03 K/9 rate in 11 2/3 innings of work. While Williams could theoretically earn his way back into save opportunities, he will need to drastically turn things around to make that a potential chance. Ideally, fantasy managers could hold onto Williams on their bench to wait for that chance if they can afford the roster spot.

Milwaukee Brewers starting pitcher Freddy Peralta (groin) has not undergone any imaging, but the team may opt to give him an extra day or two to rest. Peralta exited Sunday's contest early due to groin soreness. However, given this report, it seems the right-hander avoided a significant injury. Fantasy managers should continue to monitor his status throughout the week in case he faces a setback. On Sunday, Peralta logged six shutout innings against the Cubs. He allowed just four hits, one walk, and struck out seven batters. Through 45 1/3 innings of work this season, the 28-year-old has posted an impressive 2.18 ERA with a strong 1.04 WHIP. If Peralta were to need an additional period to rest, Quinn Priester could be given a start, as he was deployed in a long relief role over the weekend.

MLB.com's Adam McCalvy reports that Milwaukee Brewers second baseman Brice Turang is absent from the team's starting lineup for Monday's series opener against the visiting Houston Astros at American Family Field. It is just another rest day for Turang after he recently dealt with an illness. Rookie Caleb Durbin will start at the keystone and will hit seventh on Monday against Astros right-hander Ronel Blanco. Turang missed a game last week due to illness but had played in the last four contests. Expect the 25-year-old to be back in action for Game 2 of the series on Tuesday. The former first-rounder has slashed a solid .315/.372/.400 with a .772 OPS, three homers, 16 RBI, 28 runs and eight steals in his first 130 at-bats. Durbin will lack much DFS upside on Monday. The 25-year-old has gone 12-for-50 (.240) with a homer and 10 RBI in his first 16 major-league games.
