2024 Team Stats

Los Angeles Dodgers shortstop Mookie Betts (toe) suffered a stubbed toe at home on Wednesday and will miss Friday's game against the New York Yankees. Betts is "day to day" and will require X-rays, Dodgers manager Dave Roberts announced. Fantasy managers should closely monitor Betts' status, as the nine-time All-Star has been among the sport's elite players for a decade. Although the 32-year-old's numbers are down this season, he has still hit a respectable .254/.338/.405 with eight home runs and five stolen bases across 234 plate appearances. The Dodgers will replace him at short on Friday with Miguel Rojas, who will bat ninth.

Los Angeles Dodgers right-handed reliever Evan Phillips has been transferred to the 60-day injured list to make room on the 40-man roster for newly acquired right-handed reliever Alexis Diaz, the team reports. Phillips was placed on the 15-day injured list with right forearm discomfort on May 7, which was attributed to inflammation in his elbow. Since then, he hasn't resumed any throwing program. Manager Dave Roberts said Sunday that "it's starting to get a little concerning" that Phillips hasn't begun throwing yet. The relief pitcher does not seem to be returning to action anytime soon. It seems likely he will be re-evaluated soon to give the Dodgers a better gauge of what his timeline for return looks like. In the meantime, look for newly acquired Diaz, Tanner Scott, and Alex Vesia to continue to get high-leverage, end-of-game situations for the Dodgers until Kirby Yates (hamstring) and Michael Kopech (shoulder) return from the Injured List.

Los Angeles Dodgers veteran third baseman Max Muncy launched his fourth home run of the season on Tuesday, helping the Dodgers to a 9-5 win over the Cleveland Guardians. Muncy capped the victory with a 403-foot, three-run blast in the ninth inning. The 34-year-old also added a single, finishing 2-for-4 with an additional run scored and a walk. Muncy has seen lower production than he's used to this season, slashing just .212/.337/.345 with a .682 OPS in 51 games. He will look to build on this performance and regain his usual form in a potent Dodgers lineup.

Los Angeles Dodgers designated hitter Shohei Ohtani smashed his league-leading 20th home run during a 9-5 defeat of the Cleveland Guardians on Tuesday. It was the third straight game with a homer for Ohtani, who knocked in two in the fourth inning on a 363-foot opposite field drive to left against Guardians right-hander Tanner Bibee. Ohtani ended the night 1-for-3 with two walks and an additional run scored. The three-time MVP has continued to serve as a fantasy goldmine this season with a .296/.396/.657 line, 35 RBI, 59 runs, and 11 stolen bases through 250 plate appearances.

Detroit Tigers right-hander Jack Flaherty (3-6) shut out the Giants over six innings on Tuesday to pick up his third victory of the season. Flaherty yielded a mere two hits (both singles) and racked up eight strikeouts against one walk during the 3-1 win. It was the best outing of 2025 for Flaherty, who has gotten back on track since a rocky three-start stretch from April 28-May 10. In three starts since then, Flaherty has combined for 18 1/3 innings of five-run ball with 10 hits allowed and 22:5 K:BB. The 29-year-old owns a respectable 3.94 ERA with a lofty 72 punchouts and just 19 walks through 59 1/3 frames this season. He has a favorable matchup against the Chicago White Sox next Monday.
