The Dodgers are doing it again. LA comes into Friday riding an 11-game win streak as they sit comfortably on top of the NL West once again. The Marlins come in playing well themselves — bouncing back from a five-game losing streak, they’ve now won five of their last eight entering Friday.
Jake Burger has made quite the impact in Miami since coming over from the White Sox at the trade deadline. He has averaged .340 at the plate as a Marlin, with 1 HR, 8 RBIs and an .888 OPS. Friday, he’ll face Tony Gonsolin of the Dodgers. Burger has had success in a small sample size against Gonsolin with a .500 AVG (1 1B, 1HR, 1 RBI).

Jake Burger enters red hot with an eight-game hit streak and has collected at least two total bases in six of his last eight games. Burger has loved Dodger Stadium this season — he racked up three home runs over his last two games in LA back in June and Friday, we’ll hope for some more magic at the plate.
