Cleveland Browns wide receiver Cedric Tillman (concussion) was taking part in voluntary organized team activities and was running with the first-team offense on Wednesday, according to The Cleveland Plain Dealer's Dan Labbe. It's a good sign for Tillman after he finished last season on Injured Reserve and missed the final six games due to a lingering concussion. The 25-year-old former third-rounder (74th overall) in 2023 out of Tennessee showed improvement in Year 2 before his head injury, catching 29 of 49 targets for 339 yards and his first three NFL touchdowns in 11 games (six starts). While Diontae Johnson could have something to say about it, Tillman is currently position well for WR2 duties in 2025 behind Jerry Jeudy, although Cleveland's uncertain quarterback situation doesn't exactly bode well for Tillman's chances to make an impact in fantasy.

Tillman suffered a concussion in the Week 12 upset win over the division-rival Pittsburgh Steelers and was never able to make it back onto the field to close out his second year in the NFL due to his head injury. It's a shame, too, since the 24-year-old wideout had just been coming into his own as a big part of Cleveland's passing attack at the time when quarterback Jameis Winston was giving a spark to an offense that looked dead in the water with Deshaun Watson (Achilles). From Weeks 7-11, Tillman caught 24 passes on 40 targets for 302 yards and three TDs. He should be fully ready for next year, but his fantasy value will all hinge on what Cleveland does at QB.

Tillman was able to get through some limited practice sessions this week, but it wasn't enough to clear him for this weekend. Now, Tillman will miss his fifth game in a row due to a concussion. The absence of Tillman should mean that Michael Woods II should start alongside Elijah Moore and Jerry Jeudy. Woods was held without a catch last week and he hasn't done much with his other starts. Fantasy managers can look elsewhere for help ahead of this Week 17 contest.
