According to Terry McCormick of the Titans Insider, running back Tony Pollard (ankle) was not seen at practice for the second straight day. Fantasy managers should pay close attention to his status on Friday, as he will likely carry an injury designation after missing the first two practice sessions of the week. Pollard has been dealing with a lingering ankle injury over the past few weeks but was forced out of last weekend's game to it and could have faced a setback. Before leaving, Pollard was able to tally 45 yards and a score. Despite dealing with numerous injuries, he has still averaged a solid 75.3 yards per game since Week 12. If Pollard were to sit out this weekend, Tyjae Spears should be viewed as a high-end RB2 facing the Indianapolis Colts, who have allowed the sixth-most PPR points to opposing RBs this season.
Tennessee Titans running back Tony Pollard (ankle) is not practicing on Wednesday ahead of the Week 16 matchup with the Indianapolis Colts. The veteran did not practice at all last week due to an ankle injury and still played against the Cincinnati Bengals, so fantasy managers will likely have to wait until Sunday to truly know if he's at risk of missing the AFC South matchup. However, Tennessee might opt to get Tyjae Spears more touches after he scored two touchdowns and posted 92 total yards last weekend. The Colts have allowed the eighth-most fantasy points per game to running backs, so this is a backfield worth monitoring for the rest of the week.
As expected, Tennessee Titans running back Tony Pollard (ankle) is officially active for Sunday's contest against the visiting Cincinnati Bengals in Week 15. Pollard missed practice on Wednesday and Thursday but returned to a limited practice on Friday before being labeled questionable for the weekend. The Titans expected their lead RB to play all along, though, and now it's official that he'll play against Cincy. The 27-year-old should be viewed as a strong RB2 play for fantasy managers in the first round of the playoffs in most leagues against a Bengals defense that has been gouged by opposing offenses all year long. Pollard saw 21 carries for 102 yards -- his third 100-yard game of the season -- in last week's loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars. He's had 20-plus carries five times this year and should once again dominate backfield touches for the Titans this week.
