The NBA season is down to its last week. Tuesday is a massive 13-game slate after the association was dark Monday to give the NCAA championship game the spotlight.
We have a massive number of players listed as out or questionable. The late-breaking news is going to open up a lot of value late in the day, so make sure to get over to the FTN Bets Discord to stay on top of it. For now, here are the three best NBA bets for Tuesday.
Best NBA Points Prop Bets
Scottie Barnes Under 16.5 Points
This under has more to do with the opponent than anything Scottie Barnes or the Raptors have done wrong. Charlotte is eliminated from the playoffs and will be without Terry Rozier, Gordon Hayward, Kelly Oubre and P.J. Washington for this game. The spread is up to 14 points on most sports books and still climbing. The Raptors have had some injuries, but they project to be at full strength tonight with both O.G. Anunoby and Gary Trent expected to play. The packed rotation and likelihood of less minutes for the starters in a non-competitive game combine to make this number a bit too high for the probable outcome for Barnes.
Corey Kispert Over 16.5 Points
The Wizards are playing without Kyle Kuzma, Kristaps Porzingis and Bradley Beal. That creates a massive offensive black hole, as those three combine for 50 field goal attempts and 65 points per game. Kuzma and Beal have been out for a few weeks. This has opened up opportunity for Corey Kispert. Kispert averaged just over 8 shots per game on the season, but over the last five games that has almost doubled to an average of 15 shots per game. With the increased opportunity, his scoring has jumped as well. He’s averaged over 23 points during this run and over 10 three-point field goal attempts per game. Milwaukee is a team you can rack up points from behind the arc against and with the role Kispert now plays, 16.5 seems a bit too low.
Best NBA Double-Double Prop Bet
Evan Mobley Double-Double
Evan Mobley averaged 40 minutes per game over the last five. Cleveland can move up in the standings if they win all of their remaining games and the 76ers go 2-2. They also need one more win or Knicks loss to lock in no worse than a 4 seed in the playoffs. Orlando gets knocked out with a loss. That gives me confidence this game will feature both teams playing hard and max minutes for the main guys. Mobley has averaged over 12 rebounds in the last five game, double-doubling in three of them, with at least 15 rebounds in each of those. Orlando paces up Cleveland and their low offensive efficiency should lead to plenty of rebounding opportunities.
