Welcome to the prop bet tracker. As MLB season gets into high gear, another way to get in on the action is to analyze the day’s best prop bets – from strikeouts to home runs, first to five runs to total bases logged.

Each day, we will try and identify a few picks that are ready to explode in the prop market.

Jack Flaherty Under 6.5 Strikeouts (-141, Sugarhouse)

Despite what you may expect to be a ragtag offense, the Pittsburgh Pirates — despite losing Josh Bell this offseason and Ke'Bryan Hayes to injury — have been plucky. Flaherty may throw a gem, the Buccos are tough to whiff. They may not have a lot of power with a .131 ISO, but they also only whiff at a 23.6% clip.

Zac Gallen Over 6.5 Strikeouts (-139, BetMGM)

The books are trying to push this line up to 7.5 strikeouts, and for good reason — the putrid Colorado Rockies offense sticks both at altitude and on the road, and with this game in the humidor-depressed confines of Arizona, Gallen is ready to cook. Colorado sports a 24.4% strikeout rate (12th), and I'm all in on Gallen.

Brandon Woodruff Over 6.5 Strikeouts (-143, DraftKings)

Want to get a little nuts? Let's get nuts! People shy away often from the Dodgers offense, and for good reason — it's nasty. But, in the midst of this losing swoon, the offense has been good, but not yet great — Mookie Betts is off to a slow start, Cody Bellinger remains on the IL, and Corey Seager has yet to explode. Freddy Peralta shut down this offense for only one hit last night and seven strikeouts over six brilliant innings, and I am counting on a similar whiff line from Woodruff.
