Bennedict Mathurin Available Monday

According to Dustin Dopirak of The Indianapolis Star, Indiana Pacers head coach Rick Carlisle said that guard Bennedict Mathurin(ankle) is available for Monday's matchup with the Minnesota Timberwolves. Mathurin is playing after carrying a questionable tag earlier due to a sprained left ankle. The 22-year-old has received a few starts recently but has shifted back to a bench role withAndrew NembhardandAaron Nesmithback in the lineup. He's registered at least 20 points in three of his last four outings, and he could make an impact for fantasy managers during tonight's matchup.

Bennedict Mathurin Tagged As Questionable On Monday

Indiana Pacers guard Bennedict Mathurin (ankle) is in danger of missing the first game of the week against the Minnesota Timberwolves with an ankle sprain. Over the last nine games, Mathurin has averaged 16.6 points, 5.1 rebounds, 1.8 assists, and 1.8 threes per game while shooting 43.4% from the floor and a red-hot 47.1% from deep. He even received a few starts in that span but shifted back to a bench role with Andrew Nembhard and Aaron Nesmith back in the lineup. If he can't suit up Monday, look for Obi Toppin, T.J. McConnell, and Ben Sheppard to get some extra minutes off of the bench.

Tyrese Haliburton Back On Saturday Night

Indiana Pacers guard Tyrese Haliburton (back) will suit up for Saturday's meeting with the Brooklyn Nets. He missed the last three games because of back soreness, including Thursday's matchup between both clubs. But now that Haliburton is back for the rematch, he'll reclaim his spot as the team's primary playmaker and ball handler. As such, Bennedict Mathurin, who combined for 73 points while Haliburton was away, likely won't be as productive.
