Tuesday gives us an action-packed three-game slate in the WNBA. Three of the most polarizing rookies taken in this year’s draft will all be in action, giving the ladies a great opportunity to showcase how bright the future of this league is.
Cameron Brink and Caitlin Clark will clash head-to-head for the second time this season, while Angel Reese and the Chicago Sky will face the newly formed Seattle Storm, led by the veteran trio of Jewell Loyd, Nneka Ogwumike and Skylar Diggins-Smith.
Seattle Storm at Chicago Sky (Same Game Parlay)
Let’s start with the first leg of our parlay, where we’ll look at the performance of a rookie who has been making waves in the league, Angel Reese. Reese has been a critical player early for the Sky, averaging 12.3 points and 7.8 rebounds per game this season. In tonight’s game, she’ll be up against a Seattle Storm defense that has been allowing the fourth-most points in the paint per game (39.3). This should be a favorable matchup for Reese, who is attempting an average of 8.5 shots in the paint per game. Reese has scored at least 10 points in all four games this season, and we’ll look to keep that trend going here.
First Leg: Angel Reese 10+ points
Next, let’s focus on veteran guard Skylar Diggins-Smith. The Storm made significant changes this offseason by putting this new trio of stars together. While growing pains are expected early, Seattle should not be slept on as the season continues and that chemistry continues to build. Diggins’ ability to score and facilitate will be critical parts of what the Storm needs to be successful. She enters averaging the fifth-most assists in the WNBA at 6.2 per game. The Sky have allowed at least 5 assists to an opposing guard in all four games this season, and Diggins has had at least five assists in every game for the Storm.
Second Leg: Skylar Diggins-Smith 5+ Assists
